Long Review: I've been to a number of different hair salons across the Niagara Region looking for somebody who has the skill to work with my rather difficult head of hair. One time, I was asked to be a hair model and be cut by 'pro's from new york' at a different big name Salon in the region only to end up with a haircut that looked bad and didn't suit me at all. Disenchanted with salons, I gave up for a long time and just went to regular barber shops to get standard issue, boring haircuts. I was told by a number of people to see Vito at his newly opened salon in Thorold called Vanity and today, I went in and was blown away at the incredible attention to detail, professionalism, eye for trends and welcoming atmosphere of Vito and the rest of the staff at Vanity Salon. They've won me over as a customer and I will definitely recommend Vanity to all of my friends.

Other salons stain me BADLY with Elumen leaving horrid red marks all over my forehead for a solid 5 days because that stuff is impossible to remove. David has a solution to prevent face and forehead stains and is truly a colour master. Colour prices are reasonable compared to other salons I've been to which is also important as I do my roots often. Marilyn gives one amazing haircut, best I've had in I don't know how long. My experience shows me 90% of salons applying Elumen have zero clue what they are doing and Industry breaks that terrible mould. Finally I found a salon that is a match!

I had a bad experience with bleaching before I went to him and he used gentle products and eased me into the colour I wanted, silver! With him I have been platinum blonde, basically white, and silver. My silver colour held so well and I kept it for years. After my roots had grown out so long during quarantining this year, I decided to embrace my natural stawberry/dirty blonde colour for a while. The colour match Tim did was so accurate I couldn't tell my roots from the dyed hair. Also, Tim is just a great person to be around and to talk to, joke around with, or even have a heart to heart.
