Eventually I took the apron off & just left. Time before this I got the impression that male customers are not welcome unless the owner is there, the hair dresser barely said 2 words to me. Was going there for over 30 years, when they were across the hall. Never going back. Obviously their hiring practices are slacking.

I had to remove my glasses so I couldnt really see what she was doing, most of the time she was infront of me. She layered the top with very short layers. My hair was suppose to be shoulder length which its far from it, she also used a razor on the sides which i dont understand why.. It looked ok when she was done, gave her a $5 tip but everyones haircut looks good, but the next day when i got up and tried to comb it/brush it, it was sticking out everywhere. No matter what i do to try and make it look half decent, nothing worked. Im embarrased to go out. I wish now i had only asked for a trim. I would have still had my long hair :-(

I have very fine hair, and have always had a stressful time getting my hair done in the past. From…read morethe moment i walked in, I noticed the space smelled lovely, but not in a purfumey way that irritates the senses. The receptionist was on the phone when i arrived, but gave me a warm smile and wave, welcoming me into the space. My stylist was Courtney. She listened to what i wanted, asking questions and explainging ideas with patience and kindness. She started the appointment off with a head and neck massage - which she asked consent for ahead of time. My hair was washed, and i was offered water or a warm beverage. Courtney took her time cutting my hair, noticing how it grows and checking in with me to make aure i was happy with the progression. She offered tips on how to blow dry and style my hair based on the way it grows and sent me on my way with a small sample of product. I absolutely adore my hair. I feel like after years of bad cuts and stylists not listening to me that i finally found the salon for me. Thank you so much, Courtney, for helping me feel like myself again

I had my hair done for my cousin's wedding last weekend. I have naturally curly and very healthy…read morehair. The stylist used a straightening iron to curl my hair which I've had done before and turned out fine. The updo she created was great, but it wasn't until I took out the pins, washed my hair and tried to style my hair curly when I realized the damage done to my hair. The stylist must have used too hot of a setting for now when I let my hair dry naturally it remains straight as a board. Since I don't reside in Welland and flew in to attend the wedding, I can't go back to the salon for a refund. I'd look elsewhere if wanting a stylist as the girls were rude to some of the people who had appointments to get their hair done for the wedding and unfortunately, the other party members had to get their hair styled elsewhere.

June 19th 2019…read more Sandra did my highlights, lowlights and base color. I told her several times |I did not want any gold, red or yellow in my hair. Imagine my surprise when she removed the foils and I could see my whole head a red gold color. I said to her about it and she said to wait until it was dried. When it was dry it was like a golden helmet. I said to her and she said well next time you come you can add some lowlights. I could not believe that she was so unconcerned about the color and how I would have to wear it looking like a golden helmet. The blow dry was very bad with no volume and did not look good. I mentioned to her that I had booked to get my eyebrows waxed. She went to check and came back and informed me the girl had gone home and that she was sure that she would have phoned me. Well no one phoned me to cancel that. Then |I went to pay but the debit machine would only let one use the tap feature which my card did not have. Then I left and drove to my bank and withdrew the cash to pay for my hair and then back to the saloon. I should say that I was offered a cup of coffee when I arrived and received a cup of the worst strongest coffee ever. I can only say this was one of the worst experiences I have had and this has caused me a lot of stress. Needless to say I will not be going back there. I have to wash my hair with a blue shampoo to kill the yellow.
