Quick, courteous and easy to work with…read more Found Lettow Plumbing through the HomeAdvisor app. They gave me a quote over the phone for a water heater replace/install that was on the lower end of the 4 quotes that I got. I was able to choose my installation date and time and Anna was easy to work with. Paul arrived slightly after our scheduled time but got immediately to work. He was very pleasant to talk with and explained everything he was doing and got my approval on positioning before continuing. He made sure to ask questions and understand the changes to our water system before getting into the job. He cleaned up his work area and took all of the trash with him. The pipes look good, the water heater looks good and I couldn't be happier. He even asked if I wanted the insulation put back on the exposed pipes and put it back better than he found it. I highly recommend Lettow for you water heater replacement needs and I would certainly call them first in the future for any other plumbing projects that I have.

But if you happen to find yourself in this bad situation, look no further than Advantage plumbing. The owner Mike came out to the house and coordinated with my GC to minimize the amount of holes in walls and tiles needed to be removed to get the job done. Rob and a crew of 4 showed up the day they said they would. These guys got up in the attic to re run my new pipes on some of the hottest days I have experienced here in Florida. They went above and beyond with everything from start to finish. They installed a water softener / filter as well as a Moen Flo shut off valve and took the time to help me install and set up the Moen Flo app. Their pricing was extremely fair, great service, and a job well done. I can now sleep at night not worrying if my brittle CPVC pipes are going to burst in my newly remodeled home. Thank you Mike, Rob and the crew for an amazing job!! UPDATE : I wanted to update this review to mention that after the plumbing inspector came the plumbing inspector asked me who I used as a plumber and he said it was one of the neatest and professional jobs he has seen and he would use them personally. Coming from a building inspector this is probably one of the best compliments a plumber can receive.

In fact, my neighbor saw their truck at my house and asked what I thought as she is a real estate agent & looking for quality companies to put on her vendor list. The first interaction was very friendly and easy setting up the initial appointment. Jay & Matt showed up right on and were very professional. The communication is excellent as you're notified when on their way etc. They did quality work. The question everyone wants to know is about pricing. I feel they are very fairly priced. I've used companies in the past where you walk away feeling like they completely gouged you as much as possible but I will say Advantage's prices seem very in-line with what you would expect to pay. In the future we are planning on updating a bathroom and replacing a water softner so now I no longer have to search who to call- Advantage is in my phone for any future plumbing needs.

Roto Rooter is at my home today to clear out the main line and cannot find the 4" cleanout. So hmmm, did Wayne Conn Plumbing charge me for something they didn't install? When I called Wayne Conn Plumbing to ask where they would've installed it, I got hung up on by the owner's wife, Michelle Sparks which is definitely not professional AND she calls herself a Christian? I guess it depends on the day of the week for her to be a Christian. Bottom line is... the problem has to get fixed so Roto Rooter is doing THEIR job today.

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs a quality plumbing company to work with.

They came the next day and repaired the damaged pipes and replaced two sub meters. The plumber they sent had never seen sub meters. He said I'd need to call JEA about them. I explained that they were mine and that I'd had them installed years prior. He had no clue where to get them. He went back to his truck after looking over the situation and I came back inside and called a plumbing supply company five minutes from my home that stated they carried them. I went out to his truck and told him where he could get the sub meters and he was sitting there clipping his nails! After a while he left and got the necessary supplies for the job and came back and made the necessary repairs. According the the owner of the company the sub meters cost $237.00 each totaling $474.00 there was four feet of PVC pipe replaced and the charge for the repair was $2,186.91. The repair took a total of three house counting the time the repair person sat in my driveway clipping his nails and doing whatever else he was doing but surely was not working on my repair. He didn't even wrap the piped with insulation after he replaced the broken pipes and meters. He told me I'd need to do that! Their hourly fee for this job works out to approximately $550.00 per hour! In my opinion that's price gouging. I spoke with Spencer, the owner of the company who told me they don't work "buy the hour" they price by the job and reminded me of overhead costs etc. He said he'd look over the paperwork for the job and see what he could do. After numerous attempts to contact him he finally offered me a $200.00 refund and said he'd mail it to me. After countless attempts to get the refund I finally drove to their "office" and in person I requested they write me a check. I waited about twenty minutes and got the $200.00 refund. I will NEVER call this company again!
