After 5 minutes of waiting she says she's 10 minutes left and ended up waiting 27 minutes to get my hair done. Like I said I'm from out of town so I was in a time crunch to be somewhere across town. I showed her a picture and she made so many excuses as to why it couldn't be done. Not only was the area that I was sat at so dirty, the man before me wasn't wearing a white strap they put around before they put the cap on. She went in to wash my hair and basically criticized how my curly hair wasn't going to work with the hair cut. It was literally just a layered style with no bangs. When I sat at the seat, the man before me still had his hair everywhere she didn't even clean up the area. I should of just walked out at the beginning when she had me waiting for my 5pm appointment. The whole time she was very condescending about my curly hair like I haven't lived with curly hair for 22 years. I literally wanted a hairstyle that can be easy for me to get up and go and she wanted to give me so much volume when I wanted long curls not short. I had long hair because I liked the way the top of my head looked straighten and then curly at the ends. ATP she wanted to do whatever she wanted. The prices online were different and so was the address so they were just making stuff up as they go honestly I wouldn't go back to her because she obviously didn't have experience with wavy curly hair cause my hair is not that curly and it sucks because I have to wake up every day and look at my hair and it just looks like she cut a bunch more than she needed to originally she wanted to cut 2 inches but ended up cutting at least 4 to 6 and my hair is super short right now after trying to grow it out for more than a year progress just ruined . I'm still upset that she cut off way more than she needed to. She cut me up just like her haircut short curly hair. Thank you so much, Ma because now I have to wake up every day and look at MY hair SHORT. IF I COULD GIVE IT A ZERO, I WOULD GIVE IT A -100 BECAUSE I HAVE TO WAKE UP EVERY DAY WITH IT NOT HER. I WISH I COULD LITERALLY TELL YOU HOW MUCH I HATE THIS HAIRCUT. I HAD A BOTCHED HAIRCUT AT SUPERCUTS FOUR YEARS AGO I COULD'VE JUST GOT A BOTCH THERE AGAIN IF I REALLY NEEDED TO AND I WOULD'VE PAID HALF THE PRICE THAT I PAID HERR. I WAS REALLY UPSET WHEN YOU REACTED TO YOU NOT GETTING A TIP FOR THIS BOTCHED HAIRCUT THE AUDACITY. YOU SPENT SO MUCH TIME ON THAT MANS HAIRCUT AND YOU GOT ME IN AND OUT WITHIN 20 MINUTES. I LOST MY TRUST AGAIN,THANK YOU.

Apt was made, I showed up and waited for nearly 30 minutes for her, she gave me an excuse that she had gotten me mixed up with someone else and thought I had canceled the appointment. She was expecting someone else as she made an appointment with one of her regular clients. She did trim my hair. To be fair the trim was nice and it was a decent price but since she had either forgotten about me or canceled my appointment, it was hard for me to get past that part being a new client. The salon its self was fine, I had no problems with the salon just this one particular stylist. I would not return based on my experience.

It is not a salon where you walk in and it is simply fabulous! And I am referring to the look of it. But hey, my hair stylist in Atlanta salon was of somewhat equal standards when it came to this I did not go to Chevella- (in Atlanta)- whom I have gone to for 25 years -for the appearance of her salon. I went for her expertise in cutting, coloring, and styling. When I spoke to Kahndra over the phone to ask her questions prior to meeting her face-to-face, I told her I wanted my Farrah Faucet cut that I got most times with Chevella, and that I wanted it "poofy," Kahndra replied with confidence that this will be no problem. When I arrived -(next day after the phone call) -for my appointment-I was greeted with kindness as if I had been a client for years. I felt comfortable. LOL I felt so comfortable -as I sat under the hair dryer-I helped her fold towels as I sipped on some delish peach wine she poured me. Although, it took Kahndra a bit longer to cut my hair than Chevella, the cut was ....the cut IS extraordinary, just like Chevella. SMH. I never thought I would find a hairdresser who could cut like my beloved Chevella Hill in Atlanta. Especially, one in Chandler Arizonia! LOL My hair is extremely soft and the cut is exactly what I wanted! Soft hair is what everyone should want in dry a@# Arizonia! I noticed her clientele was of various races. I find that this shows her talent ...skills....her gift. From Caucasians to mixed race to Hispanics and more -I'm sure. Anyway, I am rambling. WHAT I GOT DONE. A beautiful cut and a roller set Note: I think the cut took longer because she had to fix the hideous cut from a stylist my daughters like in Georgia

The stylist took the time to walk me through different loc sizes, giving thoughtful feedback to help me make the best choice for my hair and lifestyle. The communication was excellent--I felt informed and confident about my decision before we even started. When it came to the install, the parting was incredibly precise, and I could tell right away that attention to detail was a priority. The products used were high-quality, leaving my scalp squeaky clean and refreshed without feeling stripped or irritated. One of the things I appreciated most was the knowledge shared for aftercare. I left the appointment with clear instructions on how to maintain my locs for the first five weeks, which gave me confidence in caring for them properly. Now, after my first wash, my hair is still well-managed, neat, and looking great. The foundation set during my appointment has really made a difference--I can already see my loc journey starting strong. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking to start their microlocs with a professional who values precision, healthy hair, and client education. The vibe in the shop is a lot of fun, so time flies!
