I went to Tig for take down service of the hairstyle in the picture. This is the second time I've come here for take down service and been satisfied. As an African American woman who loves her protective styling, I loathe the take down process. Each time I've come here I've called the day of and been able to obtain same day services. I didn't have to schedule a month out like some places. I wasn't overcharged for length or size of braids. I wasn't overcharged for a wash and blow dry. I admit I was skeptical going to anyone [non-black] but I'm so glad I took a chance and you should too. They were gentle with my hair and used heat protection. Oh my take down included a shampoo, condition, blow dry, and flat iron. I opted to forego the flat iron because I wear it in its natural fluffiness. I thought they were kind and communicated what I wanted the entire time. I was in and out within 2.5 hours I think. Each time I've gone, it's only been max 4 people and that includes the stylists, which is nice. Some places are fast but packed and the customer service takes a back seat. I had good service and I don't want to gate-keep so you are welcome. Tell one, tell all....maybe not all lol. Enjoy~

Cult faves like Fenty, NARS, MAC, Charlotte Tillbury, Anastasia, Smashbox, Morphe, etc are under one roof. Plus the Korean masks that turn your skin to glass is there. I can easily spend an hour browsing. Additionally, there's a full service salon in the back of the store. The stylists do hair, waxing, and make up back there. I have one issue that prevents me from spending more... The lack of employees at the front ringing people up. The line will extend down the wall to the back of the store. There are polite employees buzzing around settung up displays and discussing lunch plans, but 1 stressed out lady at the front ringing impatient shoppers. I have observed this countless times. What's worse, this location seems to stay shortstaffed during predictable peak shopping times. When there are holidays and people are off from work, they will shop. We are now entering the holiday season. I really hope this issue gets addressed. Many businesses are struggling, why let patrons walk out the door bcuz they can't wait in line 30+ minutes?

How can I steal it when my purse wasn't even big enough to hold my phone. On top of that they didn't know whether they had Yves Saint Laurent perfume or not! She said no. And then bam in the next aisle I find it. She giggles and says oh that's YSL.....huh!? I need to come on a day they have the older more seasoned employees working the floor. Anyway I only come here to use my points. Disappointed...this never happened when I lived in VA.
