I found Darlene on my quest for a hairstylist who was comfortable with curly hair…read more I had my first appointment last weekend, and it was a great experience. I felt like Darlene cared about my concerns about keeping my length since my hair grows slowly. She asked great questions to really get to understand my hair needs. She took her time to give me a versatile cut that works when I style it and/or wear it natural. She's easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this salon!

I made my appointment with Megan based on the bio on the website and I was so happy to work with her! She listened to every little request I made, took her time talking through why she was doing what she was doing, and was just a general delight. She took my unruly mop of a bob and turned it into this adorable shaggy bang look and I'm genuinely obsessed! I thanked her a bunch but I hope they read these because there aren't enough words to convey how much I love this cut! And not for nothing, but I haven't had a haircut that inexpensive in a while!

I went to Tig for take down service of the hairstyle in the picture. This is the second time I've come here for take down service and been satisfied. As an African American woman who loves her protective styling, I loathe the take down process. Each time I've come here I've called the day of and been able to obtain same day services. I didn't have to schedule a month out like some places. I wasn't overcharged for length or size of braids. I wasn't overcharged for a wash and blow dry. I admit I was skeptical going to anyone [non-black] but I'm so glad I took a chance and you should too. They were gentle with my hair and used heat protection. Oh my take down included a shampoo, condition, blow dry, and flat iron. I opted to forego the flat iron because I wear it in its natural fluffiness. I thought they were kind and communicated what I wanted the entire time. I was in and out within 2.5 hours I think. Each time I've gone, it's only been max 4 people and that includes the stylists, which is nice. Some places are fast but packed and the customer service takes a back seat. I had good service and I don't want to gate-keep so you are welcome. Tell one, tell all....maybe not all lol. Enjoy~

We were going for a glamorous Old Hollywood/Gatsby-inspired look to match her burgundy sequin dress and vintage waves, and she brought everything together perfectly. The makeup photographed flawlessly and still looked elegant in person. Her eyes were stunning and defined without looking overdone, the skin finish was smooth and glowing, and the lip color complemented the entire look beautifully. Jillian really understood how to create a full glam look while still letting my daughter look like herself. What I appreciated most was how professional, patient, and detail-oriented she was throughout the appointment. She listened to what my daughter wanted and executed it perfectly. My daughter felt confident and absolutely beautiful for her special night. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, which made the experience even better. We received compliments nonstop all evening. Highly recommend Jillian for prom, weddings, special events, or any glam makeup look!

The salon is clean and quiet without the hassle of vendors in and out. This was my first visit and Ms. Felicia did a fantastic job with my locs. She actually listened to my concerns and was able to provide some useful information on how to better care for my locs and scalp to enhance the style. What a dream come true! She also recommended two products that are helping my scalp and locs.
