I DREADED finding a new stylist after mine fell in love and moved away lol. I LABORED over researching reviews on the internet and was blessed by finding the reviews on Chris. The one thing that stuck out in the reviews - the number of women that said they were stopped about how great their hair looked. That speaks for itself, so I jumped on the bandwagon. This man is an artist - literally. He took his time, he explained what he was doing and why, and he is a very gentle soul. I asked if he had always wanted to do this and he told me he started out by taking art in school. I thought he was going to tell me he wished he had continued with that, but what he said was even better. He loves shapes and angles in artistry, so yes - he's always loved what he does because he gets to create those shapes and angles in his cuts! I came in telling him to get rid of the red/orange/brassy color to my brunette. I also told him I couldn't spend tons of time flat ironing my hair or round brushing it. He gave me reddish highlights which I hate and dark low nights. I still had every gray hair that I walked in with and he had to flatiron my much shorter style to make it look right. I asked him if he could fix the color and he said he didn't think we clicked. Was $180 by the way and took 3 hours to have me pretty unhappy when I left. He did say he was sad that I was unhappy with my hair and offered to tear up my check. But now I have to go elsewhere to have it fixed. read more
