Over the years, I started cutting his hair myself, but I could never quite match the quality and precision of Berry's work. Recently, I brought my son back, now 12 years old, and once again Berry delivered an outstanding fade. The attention to detail, consistency, and skill are second to none. If you're looking for a barber who can give you a clean, professional haircut and an exceptional fade, I highly recommend Berry. You won't be disappointed! See you in a few weeks! Thank you, Antonio

Ali did a great job making our son feel comfortable. He talked to my son, let him choose clippers and turn them on and made him feel very comfortable and involved. He was understanding with us taking a million pictures and wanting to keep some curls. My 2-year-old got a great first cut, line up included with no tears. I didn't even need to break out screens or snacks! Highly recommend Ali and the rest of Kingdom barbershop for kids, but it also looked like they do great cuts for men and beards too.

He text back an hour later saying sorry I gotta cancel. I usually don't write reviews, but the fact that he took two hours out of my day is unacceptable. I get it people are busy, but if you're running a business you should be more professional and take the time to reach out just like barbers would like their clients to give them ample time to maneuver around client cancellations. Time is money and that goes both ways.

Traveling for work, I sometimes wait to get a haircut until I am in a business city. One thing I…read morehave found, is most black or major cities charge about $15 for a fade. At $25, I think R Barber is a little too ambitious, especially for the zip code. In Kent, the population of single mothers and families on government assistance is probably the highest in the county, but for some reason these guys are confident their pricing is fair and reasonable. Someone told me to never hate someone for their hustle, but I think when you overcharge for services, you are setting yourself up for failure. I don't care how good a haircut is, it's only worth so much money, and unless your appointments are 100% on time and every cut you give is clean, you are opening yourself up to criticism. I think you will get a solid hair cut here, but I also think you could get the same cut elsewhere for about $7 less.

I discovered a bald spot larger than a quarter, likely a result of an unguarded clipper used despite my request to use #3 or #4 clipper guards. It's disappointing that a major error like this wasn't disclosed to the customer. This makes me question the integrity of the staff and the quality of service this establishment provides.
