I went in with some reference images and she ended up foiling the hair and working very thoroughly to get it done. She also did great on the cut and I feel like a new version of myself! There was one part (likely due to how my hair was parted) that I felt like fell a little funny which I noticed the next day, and she's getting me in to fix it so I really appreciate the continued service and accommodation of a request. The pricing also felt more than fair, especially considering the time it took and the amount of hair I have which meant more product was needed. Overall, it was a great experience! I have always tipped well and respected and liked these women. I told Sadie I was going somewhere else just this once because I couldn't get into her and really needed it done. She obviously took offense to that, and told me it was a good idea to go somewhere else. They don't try to fix it they just block you from putting a review on their Facebook page. I have been in Chico almost my whole life and come from a long line of family businesses, local businesses and I will say that businesses who treat customers/clients like this will only last so long. Our businesses take pride in making sure our customers are completely satisfied even if we don't think they are right we would rather have a happy customer that an unhappy customer. After the trial, and my long drive home, we both had some ideas about how to tweak; it truly was a collaborative process! On the day of my wedding, Heather was such a calming and supportive presence. My 3 bridesmaids and I all have very different hair, and she did a wonderful job with all. When she finished my hair, and pinned the flowers and succulents I requested, I was in awe. I would have cried if it wouldn't mess up my makeup ;) But truly, Heathers positivity and caring personality were just what I needed the morning of my wedding (and leading up to the big day). You will be rushed and ignored. These people couldn't care less about your special day, time to shut up cause they know what's best for you.
