It wasn't one big disaster; it was a thousand little things that showed she simply didn't care. Communication: Leading up to the wedding, she ghosted me. I sent ten emails confirming the menu and timeline, and never got a reply. Now I know why. The Schedule: She arrived two hours late. My guests were standing on the terrace in the heat with no water and no food while she was still unloading her truck. The Decor: I paid for gold chargers and navy napkins to match the ocean view. She set the tables with some clam looking chargers and silver napkins. When I asked her about it, she rolled her eyes and said, "It's what I had." The Food: The dinner was embarrassing. We ordered steak, but it was served ice cold and tough as leather. Half my guests didn't even eat. The Staff: The service was chaotic. My aunt started talking to one of the servers, and the poor girl admitted she had never worked a wedding before and didn't know what she was doing. The Bartender: This is the worst part. We hired an "experienced mixologist." My dad carded the bartender because he looked so young--he was 20 years old. We had to shut down the bar early because we were terrified of the liability. The guests raved for weeks afterwards about the quality of the service. The staff at Eggwhites are a team of outstanding professionals and I would trust them to handle any event big or small. Sarah worked me with throughout the process to choose the best menu and deal with big and small changes and I really appreciated that I saw her helping out the wedding planner deal with something that was really important to me during the wedding and completely unrelated to the catering. The flowers, church, makeup, hair, etc I did on my own. The owner, Grisel, was very nice in the beginning while we were planning our big day- but towards the end she started to become a little catty. We had paying our balance off and had decided we were going to wait until it was due, to pay off the final amount. One day while meeting with Grisel she gives me this speech on the economy and how things are bad and she needs to get paid. I thought this was a little unprofessional because how her household handles their finances is really none of my concern or problem...but she made me feel bad so I wrote her a check and paid some of the balance... On our special day, upon arriving to the reception (10 minutes late because we were taking pictures), I was promptly greeted with a bad attitude and a reminder that I was ten minutes late. I ignored it and reminded myself that this was just one day and I needed to make the best of it. Then the reception kicked off and we were having a great time, until Grisel and Pupi (her husband) inform my husband and I that they were closing the bar because our guests were "intoxicated"- and because of this they were closing the bar a half hour early. I was witness to the behavior exhibited by my guests, no one was "intoxicated" nor creating some kind of scene. When we spoke with them and reminded them that we had paid for the half hour that they were taking away from us, they simply closed the bar and closed the panel as to not allow anyone else into the bar area. My guests attempted to speak with them because they saw how upset my husband and I were, and they were just as rude to my guests as they were to my husband and I. I would not recommend this caterer to ANYONE! At first they are very nice and this is because they NEED your business, but then their true colors come out. They are expensive and although the food was good, I would hate for anyone having an event to have to deal with this company. Do yourself a favor and don't call them!

We got the highest package that included food, open bar all night, linens, chairs, tables, limo service, flowers for centerpieces, cake, and DJ for the most amazing price per person! Grisel was outstanding and very understanding from the very first day. She took my husband and I in with open arms and gave in to everything we asked for without a problem. If there was something Grisel could not do, she made sure to explain why or make sure she did everything in her power to do it. She was always very reachable and easy to contact when I had a question, comment, or concern. Her service and knowledge was always 5 star rated! The food and waiter service was divine. My guests ALL spoke so highly of the food and how delicious everything was! There were no complaints and the bar service was great. We never ran out of liquor and no one was turned away when wanting more :) Bar and food were #1. Grisel and her team had everything set up on time and the flowers and tables looked amazing!! She and her flower company did everything I asked for and made the ceremony and reception look beautiful! It was incredible how gorgeous it all came out. It was my dream come true. The DJ, Alex Rodriguez with Sound Express, was also great! The music was all the famous hits and everything we wanted to hear. About a year ago my friend had a dinner party with Let's Hibachi, and when my aunt was thinking of a fun idea where she didn't have to cook this came to mind. Chef Neko, John and Kiko did an AMAZING job for our group of 34. Let's hibachi takes care of everything in terms of food and it is a looot of food. We had salad, veggies, fried rice, steak and chicken. They were able to accommodate our multiple shellfish allergies and waited until the end to cook lobster for the bday girl at her request. They are not only the chefs, but they are the life of the party. They named my aunt the sake queen, and had multiple containers of sake for us to do shots of all night. Later in the night they even brought out a water gun filled with sake. We had the best time, and I would definitely recommend for a group party.
