Much to my surprise, instead of getting angry or upset, he busted his butt for the next two days to get me back on a tom. That's what impressed me the most about this hunt, when my hunt should be over he just worked harder for me. The accommodations were top of the line and we were fed and treated like kings. I can't say enough great things about Captain Dwayne and Tim with how they run their business.

Ronnie specifically doesn't hire smart-asses. All the folks are calm, knowledgeable, and mostly friendly. I personally never handle anything in a shop that I'm not considering buying. Be careful, don't "dry-fire", fingerprint-up, or disturb weapons. There is a fair stock of ammo, accessories, shooting gear, etc. I never buy guns from "big-box" stores or online, and rarely buy ammo that way. As I often say: "Academy is for ice chests, T-shirts, lawn chairs, & IGLOO parts." "Your local GUN SHOP is for firearms & ammo!" Given the heat and humidity, this indoor activity was just what we needed. We bought the "Try…read moreArchery" session which is one hour with an instructor who taught us the basic steps of shooting, how to shoot safely with the other people in an archery range and it includes everything that's needed like arrows, a bow, arm guard, and finger guard. There were 4 other people who signed up, making a total of 6 people in our group. Despite the range being spacious, the targets set up for our group initially appeared quite close together and made me worried a little about possibly colliding into the person next to me. However, everything turned out fine and the spacing between the targets weren't as bad as I thought. Our instructor, Kina, was awesome!! She was soo welcoming and friendly! She's very approachable and totally made the experience both fun and chill at the same time. I really appreciated that she gave us extra time to practice shooting after the session was over.
