She made us feel welcome and answered our questions. They offer a good variety of macarons, and they also have a few drinks, cupcakes, and some sugar cookies. The macarons are absolutely delicious and they're a good size. I also love the aesthetics of this place. Compared to the 1st shop I tried, the ones from here are bigger! It's a cute little shop in downtown/Old Town Scottsdale, but you can barely see it off the street. Once you find it, it's very quaint and cute with a few seats and a nice photo opp on the wall. I got The Ruze drink, and it was pretty good. The sweetness level was on par, and the cotton candy topping on the cup was a nice touch! They offer a variety of teas and on this visit they had seasonal teas as well, which we both chose. I had a gingerbread tea that was very complex and interesting and my tea mate had plum cider and found it unusual but tasty. The three tier tea treats were composed of a variety of sandwiches, four scones, beautiful cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, and macarons. Everything was tasty and neither of us could finish it all so they gave us the cutest little take home boxes. Since we were celebrating a birthday I had also ordered a cake ahead of time to take home. The vintage heart cake was beautiful and delicious with icing that was lovely but not too sweet at all. Cinnamon cake and cinnamon buttercream style frosting , topped with cinnamon sugar. I'm not a big cinnamon cake fan but they were yummy.
