He did, brought them up front we made the $85 purchase of our items and I started to put the boards in back of our truck, one broke at a knot so I proceeded back in to the store to get a replacement. I asked Justin if I could have a replacement and he makes a "disgusted noise" as if it was a ridiculous question and I was taking too much of his time, then he proceeds to tell me that, "Wood is not a warrantied product." Then asked me what I'm doing with it? The fact that it doesn't matter what I'm doing with the items I purchase or the fact that I've built custom homes for most of my adult life until I retired. Seriously! I hadn't even left the parking lot. Let alone for the simple fact that I specifically asked for 2 decent trim boards! I don't care if Justin is a manager. His response to me was uncalled for and rude. I realize we aren't considered "locals" even though we own a home here in Sturgis and are from out of state. Missing a call is literally missing out on a customer and money. I took the phone to the AT&T store in Spearfish because my partner had been there a few days before to upgrade his phone (we had bad luck with phones in just a few days). Melissa waited on him and was EXTREMELY helpful. So, I made sure Melissa was the one to help me. Melissa helped me contact Apple for a solution. Unfortunately, the phone ultimately needed to be replaced and AT&T could not do that for me. Melissa understood my frustration and how much I needed to have my phone, so she arranged for me to have a temporary phone so I could still receive calls, check emails, send texts, etc. She even took the time to transfer all of my current data to the temporary phone. I didn't interact with the rest of the staff directly, but they all seemed to be very friendly and helpful. Melissa definitely is a class act!!! Way to Go!!! Brava!!!
