Rockingtree called me to ask if it was ok to replace the white roses in the arrangement I had picked with yellow. First, that personal kind of service and care was unexpected. The lady I spoke with said she had white roses but they were getting old and didn't meet the quality standard they have and suggested yellow. Let me first start by saying that they have an excellent selection of products and the quality appears to be good which is what lead me to selecting this company. I am reviewing their customer service and not their landscaping capability. I am a business owner and I recognize how things can fall through the cracks and therefore have a lot of grace when it comes to busy schedules. However, after three years of requesting their services and two years of meeting with them at their office location, I have never received a follow up call back to complete a sale. The last time My husband took the time to speak to the owner's wife and let her know that we understood they were busy but we'd really like to spend money with them. She even assured my husband that she would call us the following week. I've since selected a smaller company that valued our desire to do business with them. read more

A BEAUTIFUL floral arrangement was created for a very dear friend. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out since it was a rather unique request. His ashes were put in half of a Sturgis Harley-Davidson gas tank. I wanted an arrangement to wrap around the tank, low in the front building to high in the back, and we just had to have something in plaid on it. The manager is incredibly rude. We bought a tree over a month ago to have delivered and planted. We were told it would be one to two weeks before they would be able to come. After 3 weeks we called and last week they told us our tree didn't leaf out so they could get us a different tree and we would have to pay the difference. We asked for a refund and the manager got mad. She sent us our refund along with a letter full of attitude. I called and talked to the manager and she refused to take any responsibility for her actions and then lied and tried telling me she had offered a nicer tree for no extra charge; which was not the case. read more

Unfortunately my order wasn't delivered for TWO DAYS after it was supposed to be to a National Cemetery for my father's birthday. They were too busy w/other deliveries stated per an employee & thought a deceased, retired military veteran or his family wouldn't care/notice I guess. WRONG! Shame on you, disgraceful! I had family members that reside in Rapid City check as they were out there. I didn't want to burden them w/another arrangement, ordered online a week prior. So just know if you're having flowers arranged/placed at BH National Cemetery, pick another florist or be prepared to have them delivered late. It should matter whether a person is deceased or alive / present or out of state order . . . learn to prioritize. read more
