Cute and small tucked into the shopping plaza with West Marine & Ace Hardware in Cape Coral, you can't miss it ... great aroma coming out the door! A variety of bagels to be had! You can cream cheese it or stuff it and make it a breakfast sandwich, or lunch sandwich but be sure to save room for a little bakery treat! I added a blueberry stuffed pastry to our breakfast bagels and it did not disappoint. Asiago bagels with bacon, egg, and cheese along with an Everything bagel with ham, egg and cheese. Super tasty and toasted just right! This will be my go-to stop for bagels from now on, especially knowing there's one in Metro in Ft Myers! read more

I wanted to try a different bagel shop than my usual here in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area. I'm so glad I stopped! The store is located in a strip mall and has an east coast decor. The place was busy and people were eating in and a lot of to go. We ordered an onion bagel with ham, egg and cheese and the asiago bagel with the veggie cream cheese. Both were great! The bagels were big and perfectly baked. The veggie cream cheese was amazing! You can tell they are made in house. Both bagels were filled with a lot of each of the toppings. The only complaint I have was having to wait at the counter for quite a while to order while the staff was back in the kitchen chatting with each other. I stopped by here a couple of weeks ago with my family for our morning coffees. While I know it's not a traditional coffee shop, let's be honest, I really wanted a bagel with my coffee. So Stuff-a-bagel fit that bill perfectly. It's located in a strip mall right off of Cape Coral parkway. The inside of this shop is large and spacious with plenty of seating and a little area to buy a bunch of different food or drink items. Behind the counter were baskets filled with 12 different types of bagels. On this morning I decided to order a sausage, egg and cheese on a jalepeno bagel and a bacon, egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel with the intention splitting them with my wife. It took about 10 minutes or so before our order was ready and after I grabbed them I headed back to the car. Both bagels ended up being absolutely delicious! The jalepeno and cheddar bagel had a slight spice that was nice with the juicy sausage and melted cheese. Then the Asiago cheese bagel paired perfectly with the crispy bacon and melted cheese. Both bagels also had a nice chew to them which I enjoyed. As for my coffee, well, it was definitely the dark roast coffee I had chosen. While it wasn't anything special, it was dark and rich and enjoyable for what it was. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife, twins and myself all really enjoyed their bagels and my wife and I thought that the coffee was ok too. read more

There aren't many areas to sit so go orders seem to prevail. The line never ends but moves quickly. We found a table just being vacated so we dined in. The Egg Everything bagel was delish. Toasted just right and still had that great chewy texture. Cream cheese was generous and tasty. I ordered the #13 New Jersey Turnpike which I move around to try different places with. I hate when I'm looking forward to going to eat at a place I've gone before and it's gone downhill. We have gone a few times but not in a couple of years when we are visiting Cape Coral. We are ex-NYers. Bialys used to be great and now are different, probably cheaper. Odd shaped rubbery breads. The eggs are made on a griddle and left too long on one side and served browned (disgusting and lazy). Bacon incredibly salty. Having lived in North Jersey for 50+ years, I've eaten plenty of bagels in my life. Unfortunately, the farther away you are from the NY Metropolitan Area, the worse the bagels get. No so with this place. The bagels are hot and fresh and are superior to any national chain. The lox spread is generously loaded with salmon. This place also serves a "Jersey Turnpike" which is Taylor Ham/pork roll, egg and cheese. Anyone from NJ knows that is our state's favorite breakfast. Whenever I want a taste of home in Southwest Florida, Stuff-A-Bagel is tops on my list of eateries to visit.
