    Stuffed Breakfast Bagels with Cheese

I wanted to try a different bagel shop than my usual here in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area. I'm so glad I stopped! The store is located in a strip mall and has an east coast decor. The place was busy and people were eating in and a lot of to go. We ordered an onion bagel with ham, egg and cheese and the asiago bagel with the veggie cream cheese. Both were great! The bagels were big and perfectly baked. The veggie cream cheese was amazing! You can tell they are made in house. Both bagels were filled with a lot of each of the toppings. The only complaint I have was having to wait at the counter for quite a while to order while the staff was back in the kitchen chatting with each other. But, I would highly recommend if in the Cape area. Yum.

I stopped by here a couple of weeks ago with my family for our morning coffees. While I know it's not a traditional coffee shop, let's be honest, I really wanted a bagel with my coffee. So Stuff-a-bagel fit that bill perfectly. It's located in a strip mall right off of Cape Coral parkway. The inside of this shop is large and spacious with plenty of seating and a little area to buy a bunch of different food or drink items. Behind the counter were baskets filled with 12 different types of bagels. On this morning I decided to order a sausage, egg and cheese on a jalepeno bagel and a bacon, egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel with the intention splitting them with my wife. It took about 10 minutes or so before our order was ready and after I grabbed them I headed back to the car. Both bagels ended up being absolutely delicious! The jalepeno and cheddar bagel had a slight spice that was nice with the juicy sausage and melted cheese. Then the Asiago cheese bagel paired perfectly with the crispy bacon and melted cheese. Both bagels also had a nice chew to them which I enjoyed. As for my coffee, well, it was definitely the dark roast coffee I had chosen. While it wasn't anything special, it was dark and rich and enjoyable for what it was. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife, twins and myself all really enjoyed their bagels and my wife and I thought that the coffee was ok too.

There aren't many areas to sit so go orders seem to prevail. The line never ends but moves quickly. We found a table just being vacated so we dined in. The Egg Everything bagel was delish. Toasted just right and still had that great chewy texture. Cream cheese was generous and tasty. I ordered the #13 New Jersey Turnpike which I move around to try different places with. It's Taylor Ham and egg on a hard roll. I e had much better. The Taylor Ham was thin slice and paltry. The rest so-so. I'd give it a 5 on the 10 scale. Still enjoyed and coffee was delish! #stevensleavin

Ok bagels but very expensive for breakfast sandwiches. Friendly staff, I just can't get past the price for average food.

Food was good. Would love some side options to help round out a lunch meal. Had it delivered and it was hot, fresh, and as advertised.

By far the best bagels I have had outside of New York. They get packed so plan ahead but so worth the wait.

We selected sesame, salt, jalapeno cheese and plain flavors We've had bagels from East Coast (New York) to West Coast (LA) and multiple places in between that came very close to the NY style or just as satisfying in their own unique way. None of the bagels purchased yesterday came close to a New York bagel as advertised in their signage, or close to any of the others we've experienced. ALL we're extremely tough, not only to tear but also to chew, either untoasted or toasted. The dough was clearly overworked. In addition, the SALT bagel tasted of garlic. Yes GARLIC! It had to be from something in the making as the aftertaste lingered for nearly half an hour, even after another cup of coffee and a cranberry scone baked by my wife that I ate to get the garlic taste out of my mouth. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day, but a quality food purveyor tastes what they're offering and won't serve anything substandard. Clearly they were more concerned about selling product, than showcasing their best.

Then I enter to a very dim lit restaurant. It was around 11 o'clock during the day and it didn't appear that all the lights are on, but there were people sitting at a couple of tables. So I walked up to the counter and look at the menu. I'm not sure if I order at the counter if I go sit at the table and get an order so I'm standing there while two people are talking. They clearly see me, but they were involved in a conversation so I patiently waited. Then I was told to go sit at a table and they will come take my order in which they did. I ordered a side of biscuits and gravy. It was very good and it came out really quickly. It was like having breakfast at candlelight without the candles because the place was not lit very well at all. I was able to find something to read and the more I read it the more I was put off. This double-sided laminated sheet sitting on each, and every table of this diner was telling us as customers how we should act and how we should treat them. I posted a photo of both sides of the sheets of instructions on their expectation! My server was great the gratuity express that as it exceeded 25%. They should have no reason to complain about me. Note to the owner: please use your lighting or invest in more. Please make the atmosphere more cheerful and welcoming. It does not stand up to the quality of food and service that your staff provides.
