Oh Yeah Best pastry in Fort Myers!
Martin N.

Stop by one of my favorite German Bakery & Café in Cape Coral. It was lunch hour, but I opted for pastries and Cappuccino instead my favorite German Meatloaf (leberkase in a fresh Kaiser roll) or Schnitzel Baguette or Avocado Toast! Vanilla cream pastry and cheese pastry are flaky and light. The Chocolate Hazelnut filled Croissant is one of best in Fort Myers! With a small Cappuccino, this hit the spot! The staff is friendly and welcoming! The place is clean with excellent service. Bread Pete is more than bread! An excellent place for breakfast and a quick lunch!

This is a lovely, family owned German bakery and restaurant. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful and the restaurant was immaculately clean. We really enjoyed our pastries and the breakfast sandwich we shared. Would definitely recommend to others and plan to revisit when in the area next.

Kaiser schnitzel !

This place popped up on my husband social media and we decided to check it out . It was delicious!!! The bratwurst & sauerkraut made me do a happy dance in my seat it was so good. My husband could not wait to take his first bite, hence why the pic of his Kaiser Schnitzel has a bite taken already ! Not pictured, my daughter had the Kaiser Nutella and we got some pastries and pretzels to go after we ate. (Which we have already eaten at home and they were so yummy) . Staff were friendly and nice. I enjoyed my cappuccino . My husband liked that the hot coffee is out for self serve so you do not have to wait . We will be back again!

We are always on the lookout for a good place to eat and we're expensive drawn to family owned businesses. We stumbled upon this business. We came in and we were unsure of what the etiquette was since it looked like it was self serve, but there was tables. We asked and we were told we could sit. We sat for about 10 minutes before we asked someone for menus. Might I add the place was extremely busy. We got this feeling they were very much understaffed for the crowd and online orders they had. If it wasn't for the owner personally being so apologetic, and coming over to check on us, I think my husband would have said let's leave. Our food was exactly what we ordered and tasted great. Overall the warmth and sincerity from the owner made a real difference, and we are glad we stayed. We hope they get more help to keep up with the amount of customers they have in the future.

Stopped in to see what they had. For starters, everything was good. The place was clean and the staff super friendly. Very legitimate Kaiser rolls, the cheese pretzel was delish as were the sweet items we got. Without question we will be back.

omlette sandwich with bacon on kaiser roll

A really nice german bakery and breakfast place. It's fairly basic omlet sandwiches and omelets. But very tasty. Bakery items are excellent and the coffee was really good! It's a nice clean restaurant. What was exceptional was the service-it was a little slow going when i walked in but there was only 2 ladies there. Once she realized that and had a moment she was amazing and so helpful! The services is what always takes me back to be honest with you and they were great! Definitely worth a visit!

Don't let the name fool you -- Bread Pete is so much more than just a bread bakery. Yes, the bread is incredible (crispy outside, soft and flavorful inside -- exactly what you'd expect from authentic German baking), but that's only the beginning. They serve fresh, hearty breakfasts, delicious lunch options, and next-level desserts that make you pause after every bite. It's the kind of place where you walk in for "just a loaf" and walk out with a full meal, a pastry (or two), and no regrets. The space feels like a little European escape in the middle of Cape. Cozy, welcoming, and always smells like heaven. If you haven't tried it yet, this is your sign to go for breakfast, stay for lunch, and treat yourself to something sweet on the way out.

This is the chocolate croissant and apple crown!! So yummy

Perfect little place for breakfast the atmosphere is so clean and cozy, amazing service, everyone is so nice!! Definitely come here if you want the best pastries and chocolate croissants in town!!

Philly Steak and delicious potato salad

What a great find. Fresh baked German bread and pastries. We had the sausage, egg, and cheese on a fresh Kaiser roll which was very good for breakfast. We tried a variety of sweets and the cinnamon swirls and the little jam filled buns were tasty. We went back for lunch and had a very filling Philly steak sandwich and the best potato salad. Very nice and clean place to eat in or to get a carry out. We have been there 3 times in two weeks and plan one last trip before we leave.

Assorted pastries to go!

Most brunch place operate from 7 AM to 2-3 PM but The Brunch Factory open from 7 AM to midnight! Breakfast served all day! There are three separate area, "Outside bar", "Inside bar" and backroom. The backroom has Corn Holes and Dart Boards. It is designed for group gatherings. Live music is available on the weekend. The food was fine! I ordered an Uncle Larry Berries. What I got was fresh strawberries, blueberries, drizzled with raspberry sauce with power sugar and whipped cream over Belgian waffle. The portion is generous. The butter and warm maple syrup made this the best Strawberry/Blueberry waffle I had! Besides great selection for brunch, they have dinner items like BBQ ribs, Chicken Alfredo, ribeye steak, and others. Service is warm and welcoming. The vibe is playful, fun and up beating. It is not an upscale but local community minded facility. A great place to hang out with friends and family. I was impressed by the food and the atmosphere. If you enjoy brunch dishes and a lively atmosphere, you have to try The Brunch Factory!

I understand that this used to be a "biker bar", thus the motorcycle on the roof. The place is a little different. There is a full bar "outside", with lots of seating outside. There is seating inside, but it's mostly empty space. There are two "back rooms". One has Corn Hole and the other has Dart Boards. The food was okay. Service was okay. Pricing is a little on the higher side. Seems like a good place to hang out with friends for drinks. Maybe not for fine dining.

Definitely not bad, but the broth was lacking a little in flavor, so I probably wouldn't order it again. For the table, we got the shrimp tacos, Gouda Mac, and Poultrygeist. The shrimp tacos and Gouda Mac were definitely the standouts--both were great! The Poultrygeist was good overall and had great flavor, but the chicken itself was a little underwhelming. The aioli, though, was absolutely yummy! I'd highly recommend asking for extra on the side because it really made the dish. The portions were a good size, too. We all ended up having leftovers, which is always a plus! Service was great throughout the meal. Our drinks were constantly being refilled, and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere had a fun sports bar vibe, but it was still relaxed enough that we could easily talk and catch up. Overall, a solid spot for a casual dinner with friends!
