Just returned from a long trip from Colorado, and looked up breakfast spots on my app, seen a new German Bakery near my house, and was eager to try it out. Hopped right over there when arriving absolutely beautiful atmosphere inside the bakery and very friendly staff. Looked at their cases of fresh baked products and ordered a couple breakfast sandwich sandwiches and some bakery items and they were all absolutely delicious. Look forward to returning to try the other items on their menu.

Large selection!! Bright clean inside with tables. There was a steady flow around 8:30am with a line. We didn't have to wait long and the staff was friendly. The breakfast pizza was just okay. I felt like it lacked flavor and I added hot sauce. The tiramisu latte was good. We tried many different pastries some we liked better than others but just personal preference. Chocolate croissant was a favorite. The rolls were really good, we took to go and made sandwiches with them. read more

We were on our way back from Matlacha to Staples on Del Prado, when I said I felt like having coffee. So on the way to Starbucks we saw Ibex- a German Bakery. So we decided to stop. Since we had Freckles with us, I sent Dave in to scout around. He came out and told me he ordered a breakfast hard roll and a apricot Berliner. I mentioned I'd like a Cappuccino and a pretzel which I saw on the website. So needless to say we three (Freckles included!) demolished everything on the way to Staples lol! The Cappuccino was good and strong even though it was a large. Everything else was fresh baked and delicious! We shall return for breakfast which looks amazing! PS-This story reminds me of my parents who would buy an Italian bread in Brooklyn and then eat it on the way home! Good memories! read more

IBEX is a brand new German bakery in Cape Coral that I have been impatiently awaiting for the grand opening. An IBEX is a wild mountain goat mainly found in North and East Africa. The interior was spacious with Franklin LED bulbs hanging throughout providing a warm glow off set by the dark red aprons proudly worn by the waitress. The smell of fresh pastry, breads and pizza was evident upon entry. My pre-lunch snack included a fresh sesame roll which was the perfect choice. Will grab an espresso coffee upon leaving the area today. The gender assigned bathroom was spotless and modern with a touch screen dimming mirror which was a nice elegant touch. read more

Food is always fresh, and so delicious! We picked up breakfast to go to our kids soccer game and everyone on the sidelines was jealous! Coffee is great- lots of options better than the drive thru place from Seattle. Service was fast and so nice! read more

Friendly staff and great food. But the biggest surprise was the cafe latte. I got it as an after thought but it ended up being the thing I would definitely return for! That said- the pretzel was great (and salty in a good way) and the donut was delicious. The pizza looked really good and I'll try that if we come at lunch. read more

We brought a whole Margherita pizza home. The crust is crunchy and the center is slightly chewy! So good!! We are from New York and very picky about our pizza. It was AMAZING!! We will be going back for sure! The service was amazing too. Everyone is so quick to help you and take the time to explain things to you. We will be trying the breakfasts next time. We also got pasteries and can't wait to dig into them. read more
