    steak sandwich
    Richard H.

Luis Bar, Grill & Bakery, Here is my 2 cents on the food, It was delivered via bitesquad, I order a steak sandwich with a side of onion rings, This use to be just a bakery. Now it has expanded. The onion rings were large and crisped very good. My steak sandwich was tender, It arrived with my request of grilled onions, Plus lettuce and tomato. Over all a good meal... Around 11-13 bucks.

No guava, no cheese, no meat and OLD Empty pastelitos, very disappointed!!!

Inconsistent menu. Inconsistent serving sizes. Inconsistent hours of operations. Most employees do not speak fluent english.

Super Cuban food at great prices! Very friendly staff. It's a popular local place. Try one of their many daily lunch specials.

I ordered the French onion soup and it was very good. Hubby ordered the devilled eggs with bacon pieces in them. Again very good, he even likes them better than mine. (Which is his mother's recipe BTW) I told him I will try to make them the restaurants way. I ordered the chicken on a croissant and bechamel sauce with the greens. I would have liked the greens separate from my meal, cause it made them a little soggy, but overall they were very good. Hubby ordered a bacon & chicken meal in a sauce with mashed potatoes. Absolutely loved this! Wish we had more sauce on it, it was soooo good. I did get an eclair to go and it was really good also. Bottom line, I will be coming back here, I would love to try a quiche. My request is that they put vichyssoise on the menu. I sure love me a cold potato soup.

The tahini chocolate chip cookie is truly unforgettable--once you have one, you'll be thinking about it forever. It's that amazing. The 7 Layer Bar was just as delicious, with rich flavors and the perfect texture. Everything here is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the unique flavors really make this bakery stand out. Plus, the packaging is so beautiful you'll want to buy everything just for that! They also provided sweets for my daughter's baby shower in August 2024, and they were a HUGE hit! Owner was there during our visit and was super helpful and friendly. Love that they have so many tasters. Beware- some tasters r gf and others aren't so read the label. Nice selection with lots of standard cookie type options, but also had a couple interesting things like their caramel pecan brownie bar, which was really really great. Even my mother who refuses to admit anything gf is good opted to get one of those for herself. Packaging is very cute so you could easily grab a few items as a hostess gift, especially if you know the host family is gf. I would love to receive that! Prices on cookies at $3.50/ea were a bit steep, but they are at any gf bakery- that sort of comes with the territory. Bars were around 3/$10, which I thought was quite reasonable. Regardless, it was a cute shop, nice owner, pretty selection and opportunity to package your purchase to bring as a gift. Winning. There's also a cute yoga/handmade candle & soap shop next door to visit afterward.
