Stopped in for lunch -- it was decent overall, but the service was a bit slow and there was a slight language barrier. I tried the Cuban sandwich; while it was flavorful, it wasn't pressed well and wasn't served on the traditional bread. Unfortunately, it's a one-and-done for me.

Great friendly service. Small establishment with packed tables. I had to sit at the counter when I stopped by for lunch on a Friday. My Cortadito arrived quickly. Let barista know how sweet you want it. My order arrived shortly after. My "Ropa Vieja" was seasoned to perfection. The white rice and black beans could have used a pinch of salt. Mixed together it all tasted great. Since place was packed the atmosphere was rather loud. Fair prices.

Wow, wow, and wow again! First of all, service was impeccable. We were trying to find a little coffee shop to eat a snack before a "late-lunch-early-dinner" later that day! This was actually not what we had in mind, but we were pleasantly surprised to be seated and given menus of a plethora of amazing food! The waiter was patient with us and I got a cappuccino and ham and cheese empanadas. Perfect meal to hold me over for a while. Such delectable and scrumptious food! Got to sit outside with the breeze too! Will be returning when we come back to Flaardia!

Very good Cuban sandwich. Great bread and much thicker than other Cuban sandwiches that I've had in the past. A Mi Manera is still my favorite but this place is very good. I would go back.

Love Citanos! This is good place for some breakfast or lunch! Had the garbanzos with jasmine rice, beef steak with eggs they were all great! Love the lattes too! The service was prompt even with the restaurant full capacity. Nice place with modern decor. The prices were very reasonable.

I usually have a rule of thumb that I won't review a local place unless I try it at least of couple of times. My second visit to Citanos was sort of out of necessity. Someday after a long morning that spills into your afternoon, you just want to eat something that reminds you of home. Citanos just happened to be the closest thing to us at the time. Whilst, Citanos does almost everything possibly right that you can do with a Cuban restaurant in an over-saturated Cuban restaurant market, there's just one thing that rung true upon both visits to Citano's that will probably get me to double-think my decision of visiting them again. Seasoning, or lack thereof. Cuban cuisine is supposed to hit you over the head with seasoning; recipes that are passed down from generation to generation. We've tried the vaca frita, ropa vieja, and palomilla steak, all Cuban staples, and all were severely underseason and underwhelming unfortunately. But, every item was done well. I haven't tried their sandwiches yet but if I do find myself back at Citanos, I will for sure see what their sanguichero is up to. If you do visit Citanos, do not pass on the croquetas. Probably some of the best scratch made croquetas you can get this north of Miami. Fried fresh to order every time and so, so worth the wait. Seems like all their pastries seem to sell out. That's usually a good sign folks. Their coffee is also up to par. Man, did that cortado hit the spot.

Best Cuban food in the Cape, no question. Great service, so cute inside, good portions, delicious food, pastelitos, and coffee.

I thought I try this place before I got my nails done. I did want anything heavy so I did the chicken salad. Never had a salad like this but it hit the spot. I think it needs a little more flavor. Not bad for $6.95 There case for pastries was empty but while I was waiting they had a sheet of fresh pastelito de queso come out. Ohhhh so good! Best o ever had! No wonder they were out!

    Pastelitos

Finally found a Cuban Bakery in Cape Coral with the right ambience, quality and service. Highly recommended, the croquetas are amazing, you can tell they are homemade and the pastelitos are to die for.

I saw a little sign for a new Cuban restaurant and knew that I had to stop and check it out. I'm so glad I did because as soon as I walked through the front door I was greeted with trendy decor and a warm smile. The owners were there that morning and their pride of ownership beamed brighter than the South Florida Sun. My goal was to pick out some pastries and croquettes for my office staff so I immediately moved over to the display case. I've been to many Cuban restaurants in town so I wasn't expecting anything too spectacular. However, what I saw was a huge assortment of croquettes (I think they offer six or seven varieties) and the most delicate pastries that glistened under the display lights. Of course I ordered one of each! I was so impressed with the staff, the freshness of the pastries, and the overall feel of this tiny Cafe, that I ended up going back the next morning with my husband for a full breakfast. We ordered the traditional egg and bacon breakfast special and it was amazing! I absolutely recommend this place and hope that it stays here forever!

(kinda on the smaller side) i did end up getting a second one ($15 each). For apps we got the tuna cervichi and flatbread. (I do not eat raw tuna, so I have no option on that dish. But the rest of the table ate it up) The flat bread was great too. It had black olives, figs, tomatoes and lots of cheese. For dinner we each ordered something different. I got the crab cake stuffed Salmon with seasoned spinach and mashed topped with, what i think the waitress said was lobster sauce.. altho my friend that got the seafood risotto was supposed to have the same sauce on top but hers was a much more red color. The risotto was another great dish. It had scallops, big shrimps and muscles in it. Cooked perfectly. My friend had the Sicilian Penne. He said: It was a delicious pasta dish with sausage and cannellini beans. The Gorgonzola cheese was an amazing addition that really took the dish to the next level. Our server Sydney was great. She let us know they were short staffed some wait ataff and she may have been backed up (there was probably 6 tables in there at the time idk.. where I waitress i have a 12 table station, and its fast paced..) but she still a great job. The restaurant its self love nice after the renovations, but inqoukdnhave never known it was a finer dining place rather then a typical breakfast diner from the outside of it. Ill be back! There were other things on the menu I'd like to try. (Please, dont mind the photos, we were all just so excited to dig in i didn't remember to take pics till we were 1/4 of the way into eating)

We booked four tickets (for free by the way) and shared the info with more of our neighbors . A few proceeded to book directly on their own. Because we all wanted to sit together, we called very early on the morning of the race and left a message to request the possibility of putting us all at one table. Brendan, I think he might be the manager on site, called to confirm receipt of our request and said that he wasn't sure if he could accommodate us because we did not have enough tickets for the amount of people who wanted to go. After about 45 minutes, Brendan called back to say he adjusted seats in order to accommodate us at two separate tables. Once we got there, we found out that we were ALL, seven of us, seated together!! What amazing customer service we experienced!! And, just to say, the food and the waitress we had were stellar, highly recommend recommended!

The parking lot was jammed full so I was excited to hopefully get some interesting Christmas themed items. First impressions walking in to the building; it was extremely small, clean and odd. Not really a theater, looked more like a mini banquet hall for an 80's style wedding and a venue bar like on a cruise ship. Nothing Christmas related at all in sight. In fact the first thing I noticed was the 2 skeletons in costume sitting on the far side of the bar which screamed more Halloween. Walking to the vendor room, feet away from the door, there was literally nothing there except for a very small amount of vendors with traditional craft fair items. No Christmas! To me there is a big differences between vendor and craft fairs. Vendors you expect crafted goods and in my mind I thought there would be quality Christmas items. Being in the character performing business, I thought I could get items to enhance my character. Like Christmas themed jewelry, maybe a crafted leather belt, Christmas books for story time, etc. This was a craft fair that basically had homemade items that you expect from a "craft fair" or Etsy Shop without a large selection of choice because it was too small. I walk out with a few magnets not long after I arrived. I probably will not be attend events there any time soon.
