When moving, it can be overwhelming and disconcerting to have to find a new primary care physician…read more There are concerns about level of care, doctor accessibility, staff helpfulness, etc. when looking for a new PCP. My wife and I had a fantastic PCP that we have been with for almost 15 years but had to find a new one after moving to the Livonia area. We researched a number of doctors in the area and ended up booking appointments at Better Health Clinic, which has ended up being a great decision. The office is clean and contemporary and we have always been greeted promptly upon entering. The staff are friendly, outgoing, and are always willing to assist. It's obvious form their behavior that they enjoy working for Dr. Hasan, which translates into a good patient experience. Dr. Hasan takes the time to listen to his patients and also asks relevant questions in order to provide the best care. They have Saturday hours on the first Saturday of the month and they accept walk-ins, which is rare nowadays. Overall, my wife and I have been extremely pleased with Dr. Hasan and his staff and can recommend, without hesitation, his office to anyone that may be looking for a PCP.

The dentist decided to use a " light dose" of lidocaine to start (no valid reason). I had extreme pain in the middle of the procedure for no valid reason. My 10-year-old daughter was referred by our regular dentist office here to get a root canal. We…read morecame to our consultation appointment, staff was nice, the dentist let me know that he can do the root canal same day. My 10-year-old like most kids are scared on the dentist. Numbing gel was applied to my daughters' gums and he tried to get her to open wide to numb her mouth with the needle. After a few tries of us trying to get her to do so, she was crying and scared, and the dentist reply was "I don't have all morning to sit here and fight with her I have more patience". My daughter apologized as if she did something wrong. I let her know that she was not wrong for being afraid and I let the dentist know it was EXTREMELY unprofessional for him to make a comment like that in front of a child and if he had something negative to say he could have took me in the hallways as the parent, as she's already an afraid child in a dentist chair that's going to be more afraid when she feels your energy is negative as if she has done something wrong. He let me know I can reschedule and I told him we would never. The nice assistant cleans my child up, we checked out and left. If the dentist is not kid friendly maybe a practice would be not to take children as a patient!

I couldn't figure out why I had so much pain in one particular tooth for so long, it was from the retainers that displaced my teeth which left me irritating the nerve. Dr. Mathew Savaya was the one who took the time to explain this entire process to me, we were able to avoid a root canal and take a conservative approach easing the pain. Within minutes I felt relief. I wish they had taken my insurance, nonetheless, it was worth every penny. I'll be back!
