I was in constant pain, those doctors tried different methods and treatments, I could not explain the pain but it was uncomfortable 80% of the time. I met Dr. Farrah at Henry Ford Hospital Wyandotte, I was sent to emergency because my leg got worse. I started seeing him after that. He had a plan and shared it with me, he did not leave me in the dark I always knew what he was going to do and that reassured me that I was with the right doctor. He did surgery on my leg four months ago, the minute I woke from the surgery I did not feel any pain. His staff are amazing every last one of them has left an amazing feeling with me, because they're so caring and personable. The rock!!

He took the needed time to do what he needed to do, and he fixes what other Orthopedic Doctors in my area could not! A Definity shorter recovery time. Dr. David Knesek is a wonderful doctor. He reminds me of the old fashioned docs of the past who…read morespend as much time is as needed with you. Never is a rush, he truly listens and enthusiastically answered all my questions. I went to see him as a second opinion. I was having hip and knee issues and needed a second point of view. Not only did he address both my issues, he was kind and very easy to talk to. At that moment I knew he would be my new doctor. Dr. Knesek replaced my hip using the anterior method which has a much shorter recovery time than the traditional surgery. He explained it in terms that were easy to understand and walked me through the whole process. Later on the day of surgery, he stopped in to see me before he left for the day. What surgeon does that? It just demonstrates his commitment to his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone having joint pain as he is an excellent surgeon and committed to his patients. Everyone in the office at DMC Sports Medicine have been kind and compassionate to the patient. They will go out of their way for you and feel fortunate that I found them.

We have known Dr. Soo for quite a few years now and would not consider anyone else for spinal surgery. He is truly a genius and is a very caring doctor. I had a very rare condition in the spinal cord in which Dr. Soo performed an operation. He took the time to research and care for my case personally, above and beyond the call of duty that no other physician would take on. His sense of humor lightens the mood of some potentially bad news. But I assure you, if it can be fixed, he will fix it!!! Both offices are very busy, however, if you are able to book an appointment on a Thursday, I find that the Novi location to be a bit less crowded. You should book your appointment at least a month in advance, or two if you can. To avoid a long wait, you can ask for the first appointment of the day. Just a couple suggestions that are hopefully helpful.

Very disappointing experience trying to schedule an appointment with Dr. Houseman…read more I first called the office and was placed into a phone directory that gave me no clear option to schedule an appointment or simply speak with a live person. I then tried the online scheduling portal, and it appeared that Dr. Houseman had no appointment availability at all. For a large medical group, I expected a much easier process--especially for a patient trying to address a potentially serious medical issue. At the very least, there should be a simple option to speak with a human being who can explain availability, cancellations, referrals, or next steps. I can't comment on Dr. Houseman's medical care because I haven't been able to get far enough in the process to schedule an appointment. This review is strictly about the scheduling and communication experience, which so far has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Dr. Bono, his staff, and the staff at Providence Hospital in Novi were exemplary. This is still major surgery, and not to be taken lightly, but if you need to do it, as I felt that I needed it before it became much too late, then I would highly recommend the services of Dr. Bono. He was attentive to my needs, and my questions and concerns were answered promptly and effectively via their patient portal.
