    Blueprint LSAT Preparation

    Blueprint LSAT Preparation

Honestly, the best LSAT preparation course you will find. I did a lot of research on all sorts of…read morewebsites (Google, TSL, etc.) and additionally asked everyone I knew that took the LSAT, everyone told me Blueprint. I even sat in for Kaplan and Blueprint courses and new immediately that Blueprint was for me. I increased my score by 10 points and know it was because of Blueprint's strategies. So take your gamble if you must, but if you're investing this much money and time into a LSAT prep course know Blueprint is definitely you're best bet :) ....and they honestly didn't pay me a dime, I'm just a true Blueprint nerd.

Blueprint is fantastic. Take the course and don't look back. I did, and eventually scored in the…read more99th percentile. Yep. Look, the fact of the matter is, test prep companies are not magic diet pills--you don't sign up for a class and automatically get a good score. The LSAT is hard for most people, and studying for it is work (real, hard, hours-bent-over-a-desk work). In fact, the test is so hard, that for the vast majority of people who score well on the test, it is NOT about being smart. It's about having drilled yourself for months. The makers of Blueprint know this, and so they have created a product that gives you everything you need to know to get a good score on the LSAT--if you put in the time and effort--AND tries to keep the process entertaining. It helps. I took the class twice. The first time, I took it live. I did not study as hard as I should have--but even then, with their help, I scored in the 96th percentile. I took the Blueprint Online class a couple years later as a working woman. This method was absolutely perfect for me. I could fit the class to my schedule while working a 9-5. I put in more effort this time--really used ALL the resources that Blueprint has to offer (they have a ton)--and it paid off. Big time. (By the way, my initial diagnostic had me at about the 50th percentile both times. Brain fatigue and building up stamina is a real thing. Blueprint helps with that too.) I can't promise that taking Blueprint will get you a top score, but I can promise that if you take their course, and if you work your butt off, your score will improve. Probably a lot.

Working with Trevor and Yash for MCAT coaching was an amazing experience. Whenever I had questions…read moreabout a certain topic/problem, adjusting my study schedule, or being overly neurotic about my progress, Yash was always just a text or call away to reassure me and answer my questions. For example, in the last few weeks of studying my AAMC full length scores progressed from a 516 to 519 to 516 to 513. The trend from a 519 to 513 definitely made me anxious, and it felt like I was hitting a slump in my studying. However, Yash was quick to let me know that full length scores aren't static, reassuring me that I'm scoring within the expected standard deviation around my average of 516. He told me that each full length is different in difficulty, advising me to take an extra day off each week to refocus myself and really hone in on why I might've got more questions wrong. This definitely helped clear my mind and I actually began to feel grateful for scoring a 513, because I was able to identify gaps in my content/test taking strategies that I didn't even know I had. Subsequently, my scores on the last two AAMC full lengths went back up from a 514 to 518! At the end of my studying, I felt satisfied that I've done everything I could to prepare for this test, and that no matter what happened on test day, I was confident in getting a score that would give me a good shot at an acceptance to medical school. Overall, I don't think I would've made it as far as I did without his support--Yash has been an amazing coach!

I spent over 1000 on tutoring services from him and they did not help me at all. Trevor was very hard to talk to, no small talk at all ever, so you feel like complete strangers the entire time. I felt awkward during our sessions and as if I was bothering him. I chose him from all of the good reviews he had, but ended up having the exact opposite experience... so wanted to warn you all.

Manhattan Prep is an amazing prep course for the GRE. I took an in person class with John Cho and…read morehave nothing but positive things to say about him and the course overall. John was extremely knowledgeable about the test, content, study strategies, tips/tricks etc. He was able to tailor the class to suit the needs of different students, and was always available for after class questions. In my first practice test I got a 161V and 156Q, so was fairly nervous about boosting my quant score to my target of 165. John not only helped me on my quant weak spots, but also was a positive voice throughout my studies and kept me optimistic. Studying for a big test can be pretty isolating - especially if you have no friends studying for something at the same time (..i.e. this was my experience) so it was incredibly helpful to have a class & instructor that kept me mentally motivated. The Manhattan materials (books, practice tests, online resources, 5lb book (!)) are also top notch and better than those I've seen from other prep courses. I ended up getting a 164V/166Q/5.5 & I'm not convinced I could have done it without this class. I maybe could have eventually, but you don't want to spend forever studying for a test when you (presumably) have apps to focus on. Take Manhattan with John! It's 110% worth it - will make your studying smarter, faster, and less stressful.

His sessions were well structured. We covered all content and strategy areas but he also offered helpful feedback on the ones I should prioritize based on his assessment of my strengths and weaknesses. I hit a wall in my studies about halfway through and struggled to maintain confidence that I could reach my test goals and, more specifically, improve my quant score. John was really supportive in a genuine way. He helped me reframe my thinking around my studies and adopt a new approach that worked better. I got V164/Q168 (this hugely exceeded my Q164 goal).

If you're looking for an SAT tutor who genuinely cares about your success, Chris is the one to choose!   From mom: As a mom of six, I have used many tutors, and I cannot recommend Chris at Summit enough. When my son was paired with Chris, Chris immediately contacted me to explain his approach. We had a wonderful, unrushed conversation. Chris clearly communicated with me after each meeting. My son said that Chris not only helped him drastically improve his score from a 1370 to a 1540 but also helped him understand and appreciate math. Chris is incredibly competent but also incredibly kind. My son shared that Chris was always cheerful and avoided criticism but challenged him appropriately. My son said that he was one of the best teachers that he had had. Margaret who was our contact person at Summit was incredibly helpful and supportive. I cannot praise this company enough! My son will be attending Harvard in the fall. Summit helped make his dream a reality. We will be using Summit for our next five children. Thank you Margaret and Chris!
