My child was unable to attend high school almost her entire junior and senior years. Quantum Prep did not just teach my child the course materials and test prep, they motivated my child actually go above and beyond what was required. My child's work ethic, organizational and critical thinking skills, and self-confidence significantly improved under Quantum Prep's guidance. These skills have now transferred to post-high school life and I couldn't be happier.

I can honestly say without him, i don't know how I would of finished taking both courses. The lecturers and the TAs didn't communicate the material nearly as clearly and in a shorter time span as he did. He is clear and patient, and wants you to truly learn the material, not just get through a test or assignment. It is clear that he knows his material. Moreover he's very flexible with tutoring time and will take as much time and sessions needed until you understand the material. Being an athlete, my free is greatly limited, but he still found time to make sessions flexible to my schedule to his greatest ability. With my experience with him, if there were more teachers as clear and knowledgable as him, then class would be more clear and interesting and easier to follow. But in real-life situations, tutors such as Solomon are there to bridge the gap and help you succeed. I know I'll be using Quantum Tutoring in the future, especially as I get ready for MCATs, not to mention exams and tests.

Beyond teaching the material, he shared practical strategies to approach problems and succeed on test day. If you're looking for an SAT tutor who genuinely cares about your success, Chris is the one to choose!   From mom: As a mom of six, I have used many tutors, and I cannot recommend Chris at Summit enough. When my son was paired with Chris, Chris immediately contacted me to explain his approach. We had a wonderful, unrushed conversation. Chris clearly communicated with me after each meeting. My son said that Chris not only helped him drastically improve his score from a 1370 to a 1540 but also helped him understand and appreciate math. Chris is incredibly competent but also incredibly kind. My son shared that Chris was always cheerful and avoided criticism but challenged him appropriately. My son said that he was one of the best teachers that he had had. Margaret who was our contact person at Summit was incredibly helpful and supportive. I cannot praise this company enough! My son will be attending Harvard in the fall. Summit helped make his dream a reality. We will be using Summit for our next five children. Thank you Margaret and Chris!

As a working professional who has been out of school for some time, preparing to take the GMAT/GRE for graduate school has been a bit of a nightmare. I tried studying independently for a few months, with little success. I then signed up for an expensive group prep course, only to find that the material was covered far too fast, and the homework load was out of scale with my available time. I have had a few sessions with Zach so far, and each one has taught me more about how I learn, and what I need to learn. The one-on-one teaching scenario is exactly what I needed to not be overwhelmed. Each lesson is tailored to work with my own learning style and struggles. Zach has gone out of his way to check in with me between appointments, and create tools that will aid me in my independent studies. I feel more confident about my ability to cover the material needed for the test, and more importantly I feel more emotionally equipped to tackle the learning material that a few months ago felt out of reach. After seeing how Zach has adjusted his learning tactics to suit my specific needs, I feel confident that he would be able to do the same with other students. I would highly recommend Zach to anybody that is struggling with some aspect of their education: studying for a standardized test, catching up in an academic class, or anything else. I will write another review after I take the GMAT this fall!

The instructors were phenomenal - especially David, who went above and beyond to provide solid lectures, good examples, and additional supplementary materials. In addition to great teachers, Veritas' online classes were really helpful - either for reviewing material you're fuzzy on or making up for a missed class. Plus, they give you access to so many practice GMAT tests (some of their own, plus others they license), so you'll really feel prepared by the time test day comes. The class format of Veritas really sets it apart from other programs. For me, having the hands-on classroom time plus TONS of homework/practice problems was the necessary nudge I needed to make sure I was devoting adequate time to studying. The books are well thought out and give you a lot of detail. I'd recommend supplementing it with the Official GMAT guide (in your final weeks of studying) to really help give you a sense of the official GMAT Qs.

Before you go out and preach my review as gospel, let me make sure that everyone knows that about halfway through the Vertias Prep program I decided I didn't need a $100k MBA. I just want to learn how to start a business and maintain it and have a fairly good idea of what I'm doing. Therefore, my score actually went DOWN by 60 points after taking the class. I don't blame Veritas Prep, I was just disappointed that it wasn't good for someone who works full time. Also, if you suck at math...I advise getting a private tutor BEFORE starting this class. Lots and lots of Algebra.

After many years of taking stupid tests, this has been the best Prometric center I've ever been to. I got lost the first time I had to go here, but I called and they were able to give me good directions so that I could find this place. The building is as it looks in the pictures, but there's no sign or indication that you're at the right place until you go inside. Take the elevators and I think it's the third or fifth floor and you will see signs directing you where to go. It's very spacious and can accommodate a lot of test takers as they have two testing rooms. The staff here were very friendly and understanding and quick about getting people in and out during breaks. As usual there are lockers to hold your possessions and a coat rack for jackets. There's also a water fountain so you don't need to bring your own water. It's very quiet here but I would recommend bringing your own small ear plugs, but they do provide you with those big airplane head phones. There is a fan by the entrance of each room. That plus their headphones plus my own ear plugs made me dead to the world that I couldn't hear what anybody else around it was doing so I could fully focus on my exam.

In the summer there is an air conditioning machine in the corner, but it did not really bother me, especially when wearing earplugs. The lockers are a bit small, but that is to be expected. The only negative I can think of is that next door there is some small business (maybe it was Uber or something like that) where there were a ton of douchey-looking guys who were talking loudly on their phones in the hallway right outside. They also may have been having some sort of party, who knows. Luckily, I could not hear them while actually doing the test, but they certainly did not make things feel calmer in the waiting room.

John was extremely knowledgeable about the test, content, study strategies, tips/tricks etc. He was able to tailor the class to suit the needs of different students, and was always available for after class questions. In my first practice test I got a 161V and 156Q, so was fairly nervous about boosting my quant score to my target of 165. John not only helped me on my quant weak spots, but also was a positive voice throughout my studies and kept me optimistic. Studying for a big test can be pretty isolating - especially if you have no friends studying for something at the same time (..i.e. this was my experience) so it was incredibly helpful to have a class & instructor that kept me mentally motivated. The Manhattan materials (books, practice tests, online resources, 5lb book (!)) are also top notch and better than those I've seen from other prep courses. I ended up getting a 164V/166Q/5.5 & I'm not convinced I could have done it without this class. I maybe could have eventually, but you don't want to spend forever studying for a test when you (presumably) have apps to focus on. Take Manhattan with John! It's 110% worth it - will make your studying smarter, faster, and less stressful.

John was really supportive in a genuine way. He helped me reframe my thinking around my studies and adopt a new approach that worked better. I got V164/Q168 (this hugely exceeded my Q164 goal).
