Terrible customer service, terrible quality of piercings. The staff in this location are rude, obnoxious and do not listen to what the clients request. I asked for a piercing in one area, and the piercer did it where she wanted too I had to get my ear re-pierced. I went in for an infected piercing asking to just have it removed (takes about 1 min) because it was hurting and the staff told me their next appointment was at 5 PM (it was 3 PM). Then I asked to at least show me how to remove it and the lady in the front told me to leave the premises because I couldn't attempt to learn how to remove THEIR piercing in their premises. I paid $176 for 2 terribly done and low quality piercings. Do not recommend. mejuri, Gogana and any other spots are much much cleaner, more professional staff and proper. Do not go here. read more

It never fails with this location.. a few years ago my family of four decided to get piercings. We arrived ready to get serviced. It was very early in the day ... once we arrived we were told they weren't piercing for the day.... fine.. we went to another location.. So today here we are today October 12th. My daughter wanted another piercing. Being she is a minor they require a notarized document, perfect! I went online with a live notary paid for the form to be notarized, set my appointment up only to be told they won't accept it because the notary was in Texas. When I told her I just paid for this service she stated, well I don't know why they're not accepting it. Standing there waiting, finally I said they're not accepting it?? She said No. Once again, went to a local piercing shop Iris the same company that we went to before and was able to get our piercing done! We will NOT be coming back to Studs, and to be honest at this point with this happening twice, obviously not meant to be. read more

I've gotten a piercing, jewelry change and bought some earrings from STUDS and I've had a good experience each time. They've each been super helpful and I have nothing but great things to say about the service and jewelry selection. It's a cute spot to go with friends or solo. One of my main downsides is the location- it's located on a super busy street and, if you drive from somewhere else, there is usually a good amount of traffic on the street and a lack of parking nearby. As a result, I usually have to give myself a solid buffer when coming here so I can get caught in traffic and find a place to park. read more

Just got my conch piercing done here and I am beyond thrilled!!! I was a bit traumatized from a painful cartilage piercing a few years back at some random piercer, and I was scared to get the conch. Oh by the way, I forgot to mention something very important because we run on "Miami time" here. They have a 5 minute grace period window. Yes, if you are more than 5 minutes late they will reschedule you, and if they are booked for the day you will have to come back another day. So just lie to yourself and save the appt in your calendar as 30 mins before it actually is. We all know traffic and parking in Miami will always make you late. Parking in this area of Wynwood can take a while too. I know it might sound like they're just rushing people in and out but they don't. While you're with the piercer, she takes her time to make sure you like the location of the piercing and that you are comfortable. It's been 2 months and my piercings have been healing well. I have been to this Studs location twice now. The first time to get my second earring hole pierced and the second to get my cartilage and third hole in one of my ears. Both times I had the best experience. The place is clean, staff is helpful and the piercing is done with a real needle which is better for proper healing of the piercings. It is a little pricey but worth it for being able to have cute jewelry that you can wear when the piercings are healing. If you're looking for a "reliable" location to get a piecing done, Studs is anything but that. I thought by coming here and spending more than $100 on one piercing you'd get the proper care? Wrong. They'll make a hole in your ear, send you home, and if you have ANY issues, don't even bother going back, they won't help you. you're better off spending half the price somewhere else and getting WAY better customer service, especially if you go back and let them know you're having problems with your piercing, this place straight up told me "we can't touch your piercing". what??? you were the ones that did this! This place is all for show, super unprofessional staff, and again, they will not help you with any health related questions, super disappointed on my experience. The space is colorful and vibrant, I love how they outdid themselves with the decor. I went there to get my helix pierced in February and just went for a follow up today to see if everything was healing well. I wasn't able to change the piercing to the hoop as I wanted but will go back in about 2 months to get it checked again. Everything is healing perfectly so hopefully I can get a brand new hoop once everything looks well. The prices are a bit high but the quality of the jewelry is amazing. Definitely recommend 10/10! I really enjoyed my experience and the service I received. I love their earrings, they are fairly priced, and I have had a good experience with my cartilage piercing I got here. However, my rook piercing has fallen out twice in the past 4 months since getting it pierced. I recently moved to a new city and it does not have a studs location. I have had other studios try to fix it but the ball securing the piece just keeps falling out for no reason (the other studio said that my ear was not rejecting the piece nor was anything wrong, a dermatologist also said nothing was wrong and gave cream in case of infection). As a result I've spent far too much money and time on fixing this piercing. I am at the point of giving up and taking it out I know there's always a possibility of implications when it comes to piercings but it seems like the earring I received was defective and is unable to secure the earring ball. Additionally, my ear is now irritated. I have had 12 piercings and this is the only one that has fallen out and had a reaction like this. read more
