I always book with Cameron Hawley, and honestly, he just gets hair. I don't trust many people with mine because it's taken me a long time to grow it out and take care of it, but he was the first person to cut it after two years of no trims, and I've been coming back every three months ever since. My hair has never felt better. I also brought my mom once, she wanted a short haircut, but Cameron made a better recommendation based on her face shape, and it turned out amazing. She left feeling so confident and beautiful! I've also been doing the strengthening treatment with my cuts, and it's made my hair noticeably healthier and shinier. This time around, I came in for a trim and a Keratin Express treatment, and the results were wowwwww. With all the rain lately, I usually get a ton of frizz, but this treatment actually works and is totally worth the hype. I also picked up a few products Cameron recommended including a mousse, an anti‑frizz serum, and a thermic treatment. Full disclosure: I'm a Kérastase lover and have been using the brand for years, but I didn't know about these specific treatments. Now I'm obsessed. My hair feels so smooth, glowy, and healthy. If you're picky about who touches your hair, Cameron is your guy. I couldn't be happier with the results every single visit!!!!

I called Ivey in desperation to try and get fit in, they told me they'd call me back if they had an opening, and about 10 minutes later - they did!!! Jess did such a great job with my hair. She took extra attention to detail to get the color and cut exactly how I had asked for. Everyone was so pleasant, the salon is clean and stylish and I will definitley be back!!

When I went home and washed it, it dried into a more shag inspired cut. There's a big difference between what I requested and the choppy and uneven cut I got. It's a hard haircut to disguise and my confidence has taken a blow. I spoke to Annie over the phone, and at my mention of the cut being a shag like she accused me of further cutting it once I had gotten home and told me she felt I was gaslighting her. This was within the first two minutes of our call and was really jarring. I offered to send her a photo to show what I was talking about but she refused, stating she'd only look in person. Her accusations were uncalled for and disrespectful, and I wasn't comfortable going back. I then spoke to the owner, Casey, and expressed how upsetting this was to experience. She ignored it entirely, gave no apology, and tried to reschedule me, even though it was obviously an issue that affected me wanting to return. I understand their policy requires them to look at the cut in person, but nobody would want to go in after being called a liar and a gaslighter. I said I was uncomfortable seeing her for my hair if she thinks this kind of treatment towards a client warrants no apology from the business. She came back with "our policy does not include refunds for non apologies." Overall, I'm shocked at the lack of professionalism and unnecessary snarkiness from the both the stylist and owner. Their website states they value creating a safe and comfortable environment for their clients, and review responses say that they hold their guest experiences to a very high standard. This could not be farther from what I experienced as a disappointed yet polite customer. Accusing clients of gaslighting and lying does not foster this kind of "safe" environment, and refusing to apologize for this kind of experience does not make customers trust you and want to come sit in your chair. I feel like this could have been avoided with a genuine apology on behalf of anyone involved.
