Darcy was very friendly and focused on making everything nice for me. However, overall I felt that I received a mediocre haircut for double the price. I am a die hard Stacy fan. Every time I have come in I am greeted with a hug and awesome conversation. I have been going to her for a few years and have never once had any complains. I let her do what she wants and I can always count on the fact that she will give me the most flattering hair cut and the best color. I couldn't ask for a better stylist. Yesterday (6/2/2016) I called in for an appointment to get a haircut because I was in need of one desperately. The girl on the phone was very nice (I think her name was Brooke), I asked if there was any openings for same day and there was. She told me my stylist was going to be Michelle. I arrived and was seated and asked if I wanted a water or anything. After Michelle was done with her client she came over and greeted me. She got started right away and gave me many recommendations on hair care products because I have extensions in my hair. Overall Michelle really took her time on my hair, she stayed late and I never felt rushed. I walked out with an awesome hair cut and oodles of products that I can't wait to try out!! Ok I cant say enough good stuff about this place and I haven t even got my hair cut here! I purchased some bumble and bumble shampoo, cause they have the whole line here and a really nice stylist helped me. The desk clerk had gone home so she took the time to manually total up my purchase after consulting me about what products would be appropriate for me. When i used the products I was less that thrilled with the results due to my own bad decision making and I called in and talked with a incredibly nice lady, who i wanna say was Patricia. Mind you this was at least 3 weeks after purchase and she let me return the products even though I had lost my receipt. I was so happy I made some more purchases there! I will not recommend this salon to anyone cause they have very bad service , I had very bad experience at salon X . Patricia was my hair adviser and she has some attitude, I always go there on time and always had to wait for like 20 to 30 mnts and one day I was only a minute late and I called from parking lot and told the rep that I am in parking lot and will be in the salon in one minute and that girl asked Pat and told me that she can't take me and she wants me to reschedule the appointment but I requested her that I needed to see her today but she said she can't. I am particular about my hair and prefer to spend a bit more for a stylist hair cut over the franchise chains. After a long period of the same hair, I decided to go back to Salon X once again. My former hair stylist Abby no longer works there, but after explaining how picky I am about my hair and what a big step it is for me to change it, one of the other hairstylists recommended me to someone she would trust: Roxanne. I apprehensively booked the appointment. You must understand, I have very thick, wavy hair-- easy botched by newbie or less talented hair dressers. I also wanted a complete overhaul: new color, new cut, layers, etc. It is now three days later and I'm completely in love with my new hair. The color looks just like my natural hair, it's bouncy and flirty, the cut-- which was modified to fit my facial structure, is perfect. The first time I met Debbie I trusted her to cut off 8-10 inches of hair because I was ready for short hair. She calmed my nerves and took it little by little so I could change my mind if needed. I loved how she cut my hair, and how evenly its growing out now. After that I have seen her multiple times for color, highlights, and haircuts! She saved my life from a horrible color and highlight from another stylist at another salon. Not only did she fix my hair and make it beautiful again, she didn't burn a hole in my pocket either. She fit me in a couple days after I called, and I couldn't have been more pleased about the way she handled a last minute appointment. I have been going here for a while now and I see Darcy. She has NEVER let me down. Our first appointment together, she took me from very long hair to a shoulder length "lob"... needless to say, I was a bit nervous, but it came out soooo cute! ***UPDATE*** I went back again today to get a shape-up. My last cut by Elika has grown out great. I was sad to find out that Yelp had filtered out my Five Star review I had given Elika and the salon after my inital visit! ( I see that they have 52 filtered reviews..almost all of them 5 stars!) I HATE going to salons in general....seriously, they make you wait forever, they mess up on appointments and misinterpret requests, and they overcharge while underperforms.... I held out for as long as I could for root touch up. Made the appointment with Blaine for a first visit to the salon on a Monday, when he was putting in overtime during salon off-hour. He clarified with me on what I had wanted and got right to work. 90 minutes later, I walked away happy. The ladies at the front counter are always very helpful and personable even though i dont look like the average salon goer. I have had several barbers/stylists in my 27 years and Blaire is by far the most attentive to my needs. She always listens and makes sure everything that she is doing is to my liking. I have yet to come across a stylist who pays as close attention to detail as she does. My haircut is always perfect and I get nothing but positive feedback from family and friends. A while back I got my hair done by Michelle and she did a great job cutting and styling it. On the other hand she cut my boyfriends hair... that looked terrible. He decided to get his hair done there while I planned on making an appointment. She told me she was a barber also but not from the looks of my boyfriends hair cut. She couldn't do a fade, it was more like she spent hours shaving a straight line. We went next door to sports clips and they fixed him right up.
