Disappointed. I've been coming here for years. I used to be happy with the service and quality, but…read moretoday that changed. I came in for a manicure and pedicure. There was only one other customer in the salon so I was helped immediately. I sat in the pedicure chair and they asked if I wanted the manicure at the same time. I said that would be fine. From the moment they started, I felt rushed. The person working on my feet essentially just tapped my nails with the cuticle pusher. The cuticle wasn't touched let alone pushed. She did the same thing with the cuticle nippers. She just touched my nails, of course if you don't push the cuticle I guess there is not much to clip. She set an alarm when doing the "massage", which I had never seen before. I didn't mind because it keeps everyone honest on the duration of the "massage". I use quotes around "massage" because it felt more like someone just applying lotion. She was jerking my foot back and forth and nothing about it was relaxing. After she was done she left me at the chair to dry. I usually sit in the chair with the massage feature on while my toes dry. She came back to me about 5 minutes later (give or take), took the toe divider off my toes, put my shoes on, and lifted the arm rest for me to leave. Wow! I guess my time is up. I was not taking space for other customers. There were 4 other customers and they were being helped. There were several open chairs. From entering to exiting the store, I was maybe in there for 35 minutes. When I left I felt my nails looked ok, but not great. As I said before, I've been coming here for years and have never been treated this way. The last two times have been subpar and sadly I think I will look for a new salon. So disappointing.

I really wanted to give this salon a fair chance, but unfortunately I left extremely disappointed…read morewith how my experience was handled. I walked in later in the evening and asked if they were still accepting walk-ins. I completely understood that it was late and honestly expected them to tell me no. Instead, May immediately told me to sit in chair three and agreed to do my nails. Shortly after she started, the salon lights automatically shut off because it was after hours. At that point, we discussed finishing them another day. May asked me to come back two days later, but I explained that I was leaving town that morning and could only come back the following day. She told me she wouldn't be working that day and insisted on continuing that night instead. We ended up sitting there for around two hours in the dark, using our phone flashlights so she could see my nails. Multiple times throughout the appointment, I could tell the quality wasn't what I wanted, and I asked if I could just come back the next day and have someone else finish them. I was repeatedly encouraged to let her continue. Once the nails were finished, I still wasn't happy with the designs and again asked to return the following day to have them corrected by someone else. The designs were removed, so I ultimately left that night with my nails unfinished but still paying. I then had to drive back to the salon (very far out of my way) the next day specifically to have them completed. While the second result was better than what I had received the night before, the entire experience was frustrating and not what I would expect after spending that much time and money. There also seemed to be a significant miscommunication regarding the price. I paid the first night and was under the impression that this covered the service. When I returned the next day to have my nails finished, I was charged again. When I questioned this, I was spoken to very aggressively by someone who hadn't even been present for the original conversation between May and me, and I was told a version of what happened that was just simply incorrect. Even after saying I'll pay, this woman still insisted on being aggressive and speaking on something she had no knowledge in. I understand that I came in late, but I specifically asked whether they could accommodate a walk-in and would have completely understood being turned away. Once the salon accepted the appointment, however, I don't think a customer should be expected to sit for two hours while their nails are done in the dark with phone flashlights, leave with unfinished nails, return the next day, and then pay additional money to have the service completed. I understand there could be a language barrier issue as well but if I had known I was going to be paying I would have just gone to my normal salon that I know is capable of solid work and good customer service instead of driving over an hour in total out of my way to ultimately be yelled at by a woman who had no idea what she was talking about. Making two trips to the salon, and spending hours dealing with something that should have been a straightforward nail appointment. I don't feel that I should have been charged the full amount given the circumstances, and the way the situation was handled when I returned made an already disappointing experience much worse. I understand things happen and May did the best she could under the circumstances but the price I paid did not reflect the service I received in the slightest.
