I felt the need to update my review seeing as I now come here for gel nails. My nail tech Trang is the best. She's been doing nails for 11 years, 10 of which have been at Studio Nails. She's quick, and does a fantastic job!

Warning - it's about a one month wait for an appointment, so when you book for your first appointment, book your second appointment at the same time. No walk-ins. But trust me, it's worth the wait.

My boyfriend booked me in for a pedicure for my birthday weekend and I've never been here before…read morebut it's 2 mins away from where we live so I was excited to check it out. I chose the regular polish pedicure and the girl who did them, did them fine but during the end she didn't even help to dry them out. Usually in my experience with regular pedicures, they let your feet dry with an electric fan or spray the fast drying spray, and check up on you as it's drying. She finished painting them and told me to just sit and wait for it to dry, should be good in 10-15 min. She never once checked up on me since, even as I was leaving. I waited and then after 15-20min I put my shoes back on and headed to go pay, while at the checkout I looked at my toes again and they were ruined. I asked the receptionist if someone could fix it and she said i would have to wait 30-45 min till someone could re do them. Long story short they fixed it and finally dried it with an electric fan, and the second lady who did it, was a lot more considerate when it came to making sure my toes were all dry before I left. This could have all been avoided if the first lady did this to begin with. What should have been an hour and a half experience turned to almost 3 hours. Also I asked the first lady who did my pedicure if there was time to get a manicure today as well. She told me to ask reception cause she only knows her schedule. She never even bothered to inquiry for me, or help me out to see if there was any room for the service. Overall it wasn't the best birthday pedicure experience. I'm very thankful my boyfriend booked this for me but I was unhappy with how the experience turned out. ***Update: Shay the lady who did my pedicure who I referred to on my review called me today upon coming across my review, and sincerely apologized for what happened and was more than eager to make my experience better by offering me to come back and redoing the experience. I never write bad reviews in purpose to get free things out of people but to simply talk about an unpleasant experience in hopes the business can learn from it and never even thought they would reply or reach out to me. Just the fact that they called me back right away to apologize made me feel valued as a customer and feel more than just a dollar sign to them. I appreciate businesses like this and I look forward to coming back and having a better experience. Customer service is very important to me when it's comes to a business and just them calling back to apologize is enough for me to review them with 5 stars.

She said she had to cancel for a family medical thing, was I ok with another tech doing my service ? Sure. First time going there, I had no preference. When I arrived though, she was there, but doing a pedicure and manicure on an employee (Daniel? Maybe. The guy that does nails there). He obviously had popped in and she cancelled me to do his pedicure/manicure. Pretty poor taste, she had called me on the phone so I recognized her voice immediately (from NS as well) upon entering and realized what had transpired. I then had Claire do my pedicure and manicure. She was very disgruntled, rude, immature and it's the first manicure I've had that actually hurt. A lot. One month since (ish, just estimating) and my poor nails still have major ridges from her "manicure". There's a huge indent as well where the red line is. I'd never had pain before from a manicure, and thought maybe my nails were just in that bad of shape and didn't say anything. But from the regrowth happening now, I can tell in fact, something went wrong. She stated she had few clients. I can see why. From the whole experience, this salon lacks management oversight, and needs it soon. It's a nice looking salon, but I see why it's not busy.

I recently went for a nail appointment to get my bridal nails done for my wedding. While the…read morequality of work was fine. I found the service to be ver poor and staff ill tempered. I requested a small design done on my nails and I had wanted my manicure and pedicure to match. I sent a photo ahead to ensure they could complete the design, which I was assured it would be. I chose a colour and realized I didn't like it after he put on one nail, and requested to try a different colour. I felt they became very short tempered with me. When I requested that they match the design completed on my manicure. They refused stating there was not enough time. Which I would have understood. Except he spent 20 mins from my appointment answering phone calls, and was doing a colleagues nails when my pedicure was being done. We were told we would have 2 technicians helping us with our pedicures, but instead it all was left to one technician. In the end I left in tears. I felt the staff were not interested in helping us. And annoyed with our presence. Truly the worst nail experience I've ever had.
