I had made an appt with this salon two weeks ago and today was finally the day of my appointment. I took off of work early to have a balayage look done. The first thing I noticed when I entered the salon was that no one was wearing a face mask and following CDC guidelines. I sat in the waiting area with my mask on for 45 mins and was finally told to sit in the chair to have my hair done. I had purchased a Groupon and told the owner I just wanted the hair coloring done. The owner told me I had to pay an additional $160 on top of the $115 to have my hair done. I just sat there disappointed. Didn't get upset- just got up and left. He didn't care. I truly believe that this business owner was not honest with his pricing when he advertised it on Groupon. He was not fair at all. So if you bought a Groupon- you will pay more. I did report the salon to Groupon for false advertising and they agreed 100% that the up charge was unfair. I'm sure he does great work, but this was a bummer. (Side note- I was told the up charge was because I have orange hair... don't remember ever dying it orange.)

I'm disappointed. The energy was great and customer service was nice. I knew that making an appointment via Groupon, I would have to pay more than what is claimed on my coupon- & I did so willingly! I purchased a coupon for a balayage & then I was told that it wasn't a balayage (by the picture I showed him) I wanted dark roots and bleach blonde ends. Somehow I ended up with bleach blonde roots. I was running late and it took almost 4 hours, so I called the next day and said that I was unhappy. He told me to come in the next day, I was so very pleased with that! Overall, it is still not like the pictures I showed. My roots were made darker, but it ended up being the same color roots that I came in with. I wanted dark brown roots, and bleach blonde ends. I paid to get what I wanted, but it is what it is.

My hair bleached blonde. (Not balayage)

This was by far the worst hair experience I've ever had. I got my hair done there last year and it's still getting tangled and trying to recover from what was done at M studio. I went in the first time to get balayage and the guy gave me highlights and didn't do balayage. I waited two weeks only to go back and asking him to fix it and do balayage and I already paid him the price for balayage not highlights. Instead of fixing it, he dyed my hair a nasty orange blonde. He died my hair completely this color from black. Since then, I've had to go get my hair cut multiple times and have been using a million products to try to fix the damage that was done by this studio. Please do not go there and waste your money.

What a cool experience! I came here with a really sad looking long hair and Olsi did an amazing job at layering and giving me the right shape for my face! I am so happy with this haircut and with the laid back attitude, feels friendly , I'll be back to get my hair done here and to try all the other services as well! Next is facial :)

Amazing caring staff. I went for hair color and cut and loved it. Got pampered with a massage during my hair wash! Went back for mani pedi. Love the fact the Dina makes my natural nails look amazing. Went back for the best facial. And back again yesterday for mani pedi and a blow out. Amazing service and could not ask for a better place to be pampered every Saturday morning! Thank you Studio M

I found this place in groupon, I bought a balayage deal which originally was $210 but with the discount they offer in groupon it was $85. So I thought to my self is very cheap but probably I will have to pay for the toner maybe $40 the most plus the tip. So here is where the catch is, I got there and Osli the owner of the place charge me $125 he said it was to remove the color of my hair that I had from previous dying dark at home, and plus the color he was going to add, so basically there was no discount because at the end I end up paying $210 plus tips of course, to be honest the balayage came out good but the hair cut OMG terrible, my layers are extremely uneven, Why i didnt say anything about the uneven hair? Well because he curled my hair and i couldnt see that it was not even until i washed my hair, and why I didnt say anything about the $125 well i did but he said that i should have read the groupon where it says that deal includes the haircut and balayage, what?????? But whatever I didnt have enought time to decide i was already sitting in the chair, and also didnt know if groupon will refund my money if i decide it to cancel,, so I just went ahead and got it done. I will upload some pictures of the deal i bought with out the extra 25% they had going on that day, so you guys can read, no where it says that they will charge extra for adding or removing hair color. Next time I buy any groupon deals I will call the business to make sure what the extra fees are. I learned the lesson I hope this review helps any of you.

I also had a wonderful mani/pedi with Dina, who was great and a delight to talk to.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this was one of the worst nail salon experiences I've ever had…read more I scheduled both a manicure and pedicure at the same time because I specifically look for places that can do both in parallel. Instead, I ended up spending hours there. The process was unbelievably slow, and both technicians seemed very inexperienced. The room was freezing cold, I hadn't eaten (expecting a normal 1.5-2 hour appointment), and after sitting there for so long, I started to feel physically sick -- my whole body was in pain. At one point, I had to take a 20-minute break just to go home, eat something, and reset because I literally couldn't sit there anymore. When I came back, I had less than an hour before I needed to leave to teach a private class. The receptionist knew exactly what I had already been through, how long I had been there, and that I was on a time constraint. Despite all of that -- there was zero urgency. No organization, no prioritization, no effort to finish my service quickly. If anything, it felt even slower than before. At 3:50 PM, I had no choice but to leave because my students were arriving. I walked out with both hands unfinished -- one hand partially done, and the other left with a poorly applied, uneven chrome base. I then had to go to another salon, where they told me the work was done so badly that it couldn't be properly fixed without redoing everything -- meaning more time, more money, and additional damage to my natural nails from extra filing. This turned into an all-day ordeal instead of a simple appointment. The salon refunded only part of the cost, which doesn't even begin to cover the time, stress, physical discomfort, and additional expenses I had to go through. It's honestly shocking that the owner chose to prioritize such a small amount of money over taking accountability for such a terrible experience. I strongly recommend staying away unless you're willing to risk wasting your entire day and dealing with the consequences afterward.

Instead, it turned into one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had. The first polish application was sloppy and uneven. After sitting there for 30 minutes drying, it honestly looked worse than something I could've done at home. Another tech came over to "fix" it but didn't remove the original polish -- she just layered more on top. The result was super thick, and I still wasn't offered a lamp, just told to air dry another 30 minutes. After spending over TWO hours there, I was told I was "good to go." Hours later, both big toenails started crumbling. I was wearing open-toe shoes, gave them plenty of time to dry, and was extremely careful. I ended up going to my event with messed up toes. When we called the next day, they said the service had been "rendered" and refused responsibility. The spa manager, Amy, said that she passed the details to the owner, Sofia, and to expect a callback -- that callback never happened. After going back and forth, Amy offered a free redo on Sunday. Fine. I gave up more vacation time and went back today. Amy acknowledged why I was there and approved the redo. The tech I got this time was actually very sweet and professional. She commented on how thick the original layer was and suggested removing everything and doing a full gel redo. I agreed, and it came out nice and was properly cured. But here's the unbelievable part.... As I was leaving, Amy stopped me and said I had to pay. Pay for what? Fixing your own mistake? I reminded her this was offered as a free redo. She insisted I owed money because they had to redo all the nails in gel. When I disagreed, she threatened to call the cops and forced us to pay extra for fixing a ruined pedicure. I was there with a friend, and it was embarrassing, stressful, and completely unnecessary. Overall, this was unprofessional, rude and dishonest experience. Zero customer service from the spa manager. Wasted vacation time and ruined mood. Stay away. This place is a SCAM!!!
