Outstanding service at all times, the staff is very professional, and the nail salon is always clean and tidy. The chairs are very comfortable and great for a back massage. Their service includes a fantastic detail oriented manicure-pedicure. Available with an appointment and also walk-ins. Highly recommended. Plenty of parking available inside the plaza. read more

Love this place. Have been going for years and no one in south Florida gives a better dip manicure than Lulu!! Prices are very fair and have never had a problem with anything or anyone there. I think the bad reviews are made up because at least 7 of my friends go there as well and they are always 100% happy with their manicures and pedicures !! read more

On 11/5/25 I had a pedicure with Kelly (or maybe Kitty?). Before putting on the polish, she had me slip my sandals on so they wouldn't smear the polish. This is something I have done many times at the end of pedicures. This time, with her, the results were a disaster. With my sandals on, she pulled harshly down on my toes to get them in a position that was easier for her to polish them. By doing that with force, she ended up breaking my middle toe. I woke up the next day in a lot of pain in my foot. No, I hadn't stubbed my toe or anything like that. The pain was directly attributable to her toughly yanking on my toes to better position them for her benefit. I went to the foot doctor and had x-rays and an MRI which showed a break in my middle toe. Four weeks later and I am still in a lot of pain. Some might ask, "why didn't you tell the owner?" Despite being called The Friendly Nail Salon, it is anything but friendly - true misnomer of a name. If you have been there you know what I mean. Did Kelly break my toe? Here are the facts - you decide. read more

When I come from NY to Fla I go there and it used to be clean. Now the place is dirty the nail dryer was grimy and dirty. Worst of all I got fungus on two toe nails from the dirty tub they never cleaned and left the dirty hose inside the water running and no plastic. I had to go to Podiatrist and get my nail removed and get laser and it was painful even with the numbing I now have plastic nail over the toe and was prescribed medicine to use everyday I paid hundreds out of pocket. Instead of enjoying my vacation in Florida I have to stay home away from crowds so I don't get stepped on and no close shoes. It takes 6 months for nail to grow back Read other reviews with Fungus issues too. Save your $90 DONT GO THERE.What a nightmare read more

Such a bad experience.. worst dip powder ever!! My nails are damaged from the filling down so many times, they burn. I also was cut multiple times on my cuticles and my toe nails were clipped and sanded down so bad the skin is bleeding. Do not recommend!!! Oh and I was charged TWICE. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!!!! read more

This nail salon is an absolute nightmare. I posted online and my post garnered agreement from a 1000+ people who, like me, were appalled by the horrendous state of my nails. The nail artist's pathetic attempt to shift blame onto my nail beds rather than taking accountability is a testament to their lack of skill and integrity. The manager's rude and unprofessional demeanor was the final straw. To top it off, they callously refused to refund me not once, but twice. Steer clear of this disaster of a salon--it's a masterclass in incompetence and disrespect. I hope having over 1000 people know how incompetent you guys are was worth the $55 you didn't want to return to me after majorly messing up my nails. read more

I've gone here for years during the winter season and I got a nail fungus two years in a row. Didn't know if it might possibly have been from my long time salon from my hometown. I heard someone call in complaining about having gotten a nail fungus and that decided the issue! I've never had that problem from my hometown salon. I won't be back! read more

12 DAYS AFTER a *basic* mani/pedi (that includes 12 days with toddler baths, house cleaning, etc.) I am so happy with the job they did!! My cousin, aunt and mom were looking for a place to get our nails done (also with our 2 young daughters) on Mother's Day. This nail salon's Yelp reviews were better than most and we can see why! Courteous staff, VERY clean facility, attention to detail and SUPER great prices! I live in San Diego but I will definitely come back next time I'm in town and I'm sure my cousin and aunt will make this "their salon". Well done! And thank you! read more

Friendly Nail Spa - 12 DAYS AFTER a basic mani/pedi. Has lasted so well!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Hallandale Beach, Florida

This place is horrible. There's an up charge for EVERYTHING! I wanted a specific color combination Avengers endgame and there's a two dollar extra charge for every color used passed one color. It's BULL. I didn't even have gel on my nails and I got charged 5 dollars to remove a base coat because they had to take out the little machine. I'm SO disappointed. This place used to be amazing, now it's just money hungry. I've gone to other places were there is not an up charge for multiple colors. I'm so upset! read more

They are clean they user liners when you are getting a pedicure and everything is sealed and sterilized $22 for a pedicure also is very cheap ! I have been twice and both times they are friendly and do a decent job. Except the next two times I went the girl gave me a 15 minute pedicure and barely did anything. She told me to use vasaline when I get home. read more

At first, I was really happy with my results. Nowhere else had ever done the shape I wanted, correctly. Now being that in total, my full set ended up costing $65, I would've thought that one week later, my nails wouldn't be flimsy and breaking my actual nail underneath. If you've ever had this happen to you, you know it hurts like hell. This happened on four of my fingers with in two weeks. I had ugly band aids on all of them just to keep them in place. I ended up just cutting them down, but I really didn't want to, seeing as it had not even hit the third week. Design quality- 5 stars Overall quality- 3 stars read more

Horrible customer service. First person made my nails with wrong polish, regular instead of gel, obviously it did not stick. then I had to see how my nails get destroyed second time by machine filing and soaking it in acetone. On top of that I had spend + 35 minutes while I had to be at the meeting. No discount was offered when I asked or not even apologize. read more

I came to this salon for the first and last time!  At first, on the phone, I was told one price of service upon arrival at the salon turned out to be a different price and in the roughest form they hinted at the types.  And I gave !!!  The job was awful, rough and not professional!  When I showed this to the manager, she did not even look in my direction, let alone at my hands!  I turned away and continued to do my own thing!  The words '' sorry 'I didn't hear from the" master "or from the manager!  I paid $ 40 and got terrible nails.  2 hours after washing the dishes at home, one nail peeled off.  I just burst into tears!  And my husband and I came back to the salon to show them their horrible work.  And manager there just accused me of doing it on purpose to myself !!!  The manager first threatened with the police and then left and never showed up. read more

If I could put 0 stars I would. Never come here! The owner is rude and does not care for her workers. She allowed her employee to struggle through my mani and pedi and did not care to provide interpretation until things were utterly ruined. Despite my multiple requests to get him help. It seemed they were ok w him ruining services than giving him the proper help. My gel manicure was still wet and he ended up wiping w alcohol while not dry and it ruined one hand. A fellow customer who witnessed the struggle the entire time suggested I call the manager I had already spoken to previously and asked for a different tech person. She did not help. The male tech grew frustrated bc of the language barrier and raised his voice and I asked him to quiet down if he didn't want me to get louder than him. He did and then continued the subpar work. When the manager came she asked my partner and I to leave out of frustration and so we started to then she says to pay for the incomplete service which is where it went downhill from. I told her once they complete the service I'll be happy to pay for the complete service but I won't pay for incomplete work. She refused so the cops were called and we reigned victorious in the end. Even though I could press charges on her for threatening and assaulting me by slamming the door in and jolting me back I chose not to bc it's nee years eve but if I had nothing better to do I would go teach her a valuable lesson. Though it took up valuable time I won't get back to post this as well, this was worth it to warn others. If u want to visit this shop, make sure u look affluent if u want to be treated w respect and dignity, otherwise you will be paired w the least competent nail tech in the store. Just skip this store totally. read more

So I haven't done my nails in about 2 months because the last time I did nexgen the lady filed my nails so thin it hurt to touch anything. My nails have finally grown out so I thought let me give it a lot her go. I was not happy with my manicure or pedicure. I went in wanting a basic pedicure and manicure and ended up with the deluxe pedicure a nexgen manicure. The whole reason for me to come was to take off the dead skin and cuticles from my hands and feet. There were no cuticles taken off neither my hands or feet. As well, all my nails where filed uneven. The nexgen on my nails is uneven and over the sides of my nails on my skin. Not to mention there's residue of cakes on powder that I'm going to gave to attempt to scrub off.. For $76.. It was not worth it. I will never go back to this place. read more

Love this place...all techs are skilled and friendly...been coming for years...highly recommend gel pedi :)

Very good manicurists, they last a long time and look good! Best place I have been to in Hallandale so far!

I saw no sign that they sterilize any of their tools. The woman doing my nails asked if I wanted them cut or filed. I said, "Filed, please." She proceeded to pick up a nail file that was lying on the table next to her - as she did the clippers that she used to trim my cuticles. In hindsight, I should have walked out, but I think I was just so stunned that I did nothing. I don't know; I just moved to Florida. Do they not have hygiene regulations for salons here?? read more

Stumbled on this place as my normal was booked. I got kitty and got the best manicure ever. Now I only come as they make things right if a nail breaks or peels quickly, which is not normally what happens, but let's be real sometimes it happens..... now I will not go elsewhere. I do the dipping powder and it stays on for 3+ weeks. I love kitty and the service and time she gives. Thank you read more

2nd time here, friendly people (pun intended). I've been getting my nails done for 20 yrs at various places and it's been harder to find a nail tech that cares about his/her work. Lulu who did my nails was very pleasant and paid attention to detail while making sure I was happy with her work...and yes I could understand her. :) Only problem, next door is a cigar shop and the smell sometimes filters over to the nail salon. Other than that, I recommend Friendly Nails! read more

Very nice place and great location. I love people there. Owners are great as well as their staff. Very friendly, nice and patient people. The only thing I didn't like very much is the girl who did me nails. First of all she did it good on outside but very bad inside. After couple days they were falling out, too bad. And the girl who did nails to me wasn't professional at all, was very rude and talked to much about nothing or how hard her life is hard right now, and much more useless info. Other then that I like everything what I mention above and a guy who did me a pedicure was very nice as well as my pedicure is right now, still in good condition (even I didn't do a gel nails, just regular). read more
