To be clear, I did my due diligence. I called ahead and specifically asked if they could do a men's haircut, and I was assured they could. When I sat in the chair, the stylist Tanya immediately told me she couldnt do skin fades. I said, "Okay, perfect," because that's exactly what I didn't want. I explained that my usual style is a more grown-out, longer look. I even showed a clear inspiration photo to ensure we were on the same page. She then proceeded to completely ignore everything I said. Not only did she not follow the photo, but she cut my hair drastically shorter than I asked for. When I voiced my concern, saying it was already too short, she decided to take even more off, making the situation infinitely worse.
