I've been going to SkinSpirit at Biltmore for about a year--not because I thought the work was…read moreexcellent, but because I'm a creature of habit and it was close to where I live. Over the last several months, though, it felt like no one was listening to what I actually needed. Instead of addressing my concern, I kept being offered alternative procedures, none of which made any difference in the area I wanted treated. I fully understand you can't make a 60-year-old look like a 20-year-old. All I wanted was a little filler at the bottom corner of my lips. That's it. But Sarah, the last provider--and honestly one or two before her--did other procedures that accomplished nothing. Sarah used a volumizer at the bottom of my lip corners plus threads. The only outcome was a badly bruised chin for two months. She told me not to get too excited because the "filling" was just inflammation. As a nurse, that was concerning to me--I wanted filler, not inflammation. After the procedure, the pitch shifts to more expensive treatments, like microneedling. Sure, that might be worthwhile on its own, but it doesn't solve my problem. Two and a half months after Sarah told me I'd see results, I've seen none. Zero. I spent $1,800 for nothing. I called the Biltmore location on Thursday, September 16th, and spoke with someone whose name I unfortunately didn't get. They said they'd call me Friday morning. Nothing. Today is Monday, and while I've left another message, I don't expect a response. I'll be going to a provider who will actually listen and do this very minor filler procedure for me. I wouldn't recommend SkinSpirit Biltmore. They may do something, but understand going in that you likely won't get the results you want--so you keep returning hoping for better. Go to someone reputable. Not SkinSpirit.

I went to CleanSlate last November after facilitating a switch from a pharmacy provider to…read moreCleanSlate. I bounced around from their North Phoenix office to the Gilbert office. They are constantly short staffed and its a different face each week you visit. I had signed up for counseling services as well as medication monitor and order. After several month of CleanSlate pushing every reason in the book to maintain a bi-weekly schedule which over course included co-pays and insurance billing I was told that CleanSlate could no longer facilitate counseling services to me. This was in February. I was literally "fired" from their practice being told I was not maintaining a schedule of "every other week" for the pharmacy. Fine. I said I would continue my counseling with Angela to which she and the Gilbert office said was no problem. Well in February it was a problem. I went to what would be my last counseling session which after four months of counseling there is a certain understanding and progress with the therapist. Nope, I was told I could no longer utilize CleanSlate for counseling. So after thousands of dollars I was told to take a hike. May is mental health month! Maybe CleanSlate should evaluate their primary and core reason for service: To help individuals overcome mental health challenges. Further - The Minnesota based company has continued to bill me for dates I never attended sessions. I have repeatedly told the billing department that I never attended those sessions and was released from their program in February. They won't hear it! They are now putting me in collections for $90 (2 sessions) that never occurred. So not only am I out almost $1600 in medical cost to this shady provider but they will put me in collections for two sessions that never even occurred. I would steer clear of CleanSlate - There are many providers in Arizona that take an empathetic approach to their clients. Not CleanSlate - To CleanSlate it is all about the dollar. They will overbill and charge for sessions that never occurred. Further, they will dump you after a short period if you will not continue to escalate your visits and payments. NOTHING about CleanSlate is about mental health and recovery. They are a money grubbing organization that utilize the patients to profit and grow their business.
