I have had such a difficult time finding someone who will listen to the one request I had above my eyebrows. It is the major area I want to get injected as it controls the muscles of the forehead. Most injectors are afraid of the potential side effect which is; drooping if the eye. Yet because of this you get strange little areas that wrinkle. I'm just disappointed at this point. I was referred to Dr Agha's office by my amazing doctor. After…read morean initial consultation, I found myself scheduled for two procedures (both venograms along with treatments). Billing refused to tell me what they charge or what to expect for these, which was a huge red flag. I couldn't get any information from them at all. Now I'm left with a $2k bill to pay off after insurance. (And I have a top of the line insurance plan with no deductible). The charges were over $30k. Sadly, I haven't felt better since these procedures. My health has taken a negative turn, and I now have other issues, along with phantom pains. With no follow up appointment with the doctor, and in reaching out, I'm now told I need to go to my "primary care" or they "strongly suggest" I see a cardiologist. The care and attention existed up until I was finished with the procedures. Then they stopped responding. I left two voicemails in one week and never heard back. Reached out again and finally heard from a nurse. She said she'd call me back after talking to the doctor. It has now been another week and a half and I haven't heard. I'm just disappointed. It's very frustrating being a person who has been so intentional with my health after having autoimmune issues in the past to now be looking at the hamster wheel of being passed around in the medical field to another specialist. Makes you feel like a number. Makes you feel like it was about money. So sad.
