Prior to this appointment, she never told me any rules. I have never done anything like this before so I brought my best friend/roommate with me for moral support. Also, I am a young woman and because she operates out of her house I wanted to bring my friend since it is an unfamiliar place. She opened the door and immediately started berating me for bringing my friend, saying I was "not normal" and "strange" multiple times for doing that. She said "I mean you're getting a brazilian, you really want her staring at your hoohah." She made me feel like I was weird when she was the one making it weird. I apologized multiple times and my friend said she would just go sit in the car, but she continued to make us feel so uncomfortable. She even said "I know I'm being harsh but if you really need her to sit and hold your hand that is not normal." After this experience I decided it would be better for me to leave as I did not feel comfortable doing something so vulnerable with her anymore. If you are going to get laser here make sure you do not bring anyone or you will be made to feel awful. Honestly I almost cried. Do not recommend.

Dawn is so incredibly talented!! I can't even begin to imagine trusting anyone else for any of my facial needs. So far, I have received Botox, Dysport, Voluma, and Juvaderm Ultra from her and she helps me feel more beautiful with each treatment. She's incredibly honest and I love that I can trust knowing she isn't trying to oversell me on anything. I would never want to go anywhere else and I'm truly grateful for her kindness and talent. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Amplified Beauty in Scottsdale and I am writing…read moreto formally document this experience with Amplified Beauty, located at 10752 N. 89th Place, Unit C-231, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. I originally went in on July 18 for a Dysport promotion I saw on social media. During my appointment, I was upsold on additional services and spent nearly $1,000. I was reassured that, "with an investment like that, we will make sure you are happy with our service." Based on that reassurance, I felt comfortable spending the money. At my August 1 follow-up appointment, I was seen by Emily, the owner. I specifically told her I could still see movement between my eyebrows, which was one of my main concerns. Emily said she did not see the movement and decided not to add additional Dysport to that area. When the movement continued, I contacted Emily again on August 13 and asked to be seen in person. I was then told I would have to PAY for additional units. This is where I have a serious problem. This was not a new concern. I specifically raised it during their "touch-up window," and Emily chose not to treat the area further. Now I was being asked to pay more to correct the same issue I had already brought to her attention. Emily later stated that their touch-up policy only allows up to 15 additional units--something I do not recall ever being disclosed when I agreed to nearly $1,000 in services. She also referred to the consent form stating that results are not guaranteed. I understand cosmetic treatments cannot guarantee a specific result. My complaint is about how my concern was handled. I raised the issue during the appropriate follow-up period "touch up window" and relied on the owner's professional judgment when she decided not to address it. I do not believe I should then be expected to pay additional money for the same unresolved concern. I made a substantial financial investment based in part on the reassurance that the company would make sure I was happy with the service. Unfortunately, when I raised a legitimate concern within the appropriate follow-up period, I do not feel that the same level of customer care, accountability, or willingness to resolve the issue was demonstrated. I am sharing this experience so that prospective clients can make an informed decision before purchasing services from Amplified Beauty. My experience left me extremely disappointed. I expected Amplified Beauty, and particularly its owner, to address a concern that I clearly raised during the "touch up window" period rather than subsequently requiring me to spend additional money to address the same unresolved issue.
