I have been getting my waxing and skincare services from Ann for 20 years now. The wax she uses does not hurt and i never breakout or get bumps. I use pretty much all the Tuel skincare products she carries. I get my sage and frankincense from her regularly. She has new crystals and bracelets (that she makes by hand, transferring her amazing energy to them) monthly that I'll usually feel the need to buy. Her business has grown so much in the last couple years and she now has a wonderful staff that offers services like massage, reiki, lash extensions, peels, dermaplaning, and brow lamination . I've started letting Harley do some of my facials and waxing and she's really good and fast like Ann. I 100% recommend this place read more

She understands that every hair counts and that subtle changes make a big difference. Precise. Accurate. Meticulous.

I swear Ann's facials are the most relaxing facials I've ever had in my LIFE. And working in the beauty industry for over 10 years I've had a LOT! Even her Brazilian waxes are as relaxing as can be I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Ann is great! She makes sure she gets every last hair and takes her time. She is also available during hours most other people are closed. She really know brows and made my uneven brows very even. I also love buddy her dog. He is such a great part of a pleasant visit to Ann. read more

I came here about a month ago and I'm now just getting around to leaving a review. I came here from Bay Area where everything has been closed as far as hair, nails, and eyebrows. I found Ana on yelp and she had really good reviews so I thought why not try this place. Also, I am super picky about my eyebrows. So anyway my eyebrows were in desperate need of a good waxing and oh my gosh Ana did an amazing job and I would 100% go back to her a million times and plan to once I move to Arizona! read more

She was fantastic! Called at the last minute for an eyebrow wax, she fit me in and was thorough and knowledgable. She introduced me to new (and healthy!) products and even gave me samples to try. I will most definitely be returning to this bubbly and happy gal! Update 2017: just had my very first Reki facial yesterday with Ann and I will definitely be back! What an amazing zen experience. She is also still the ONLY one I let touch my brows and face. I love that every time I go in, she whips up an oil concoction for me. I love giving her oil mixtures for gifts too read more

Wax & Relax is an amazing waxing studio, i have been coming to see Ann for quite some time, she is amazing and very professional!! She recently remodeled and opened a second studio, very clean and spacious! Highly recommend Wax & Relax read more

Ann is an expert at eyebrow shaping. My eyebrows are thinner and light in color. Ann makes my eyebrows look thick and then she tints them. AMAZING! I also go to Ann for my facials. It is the most relaxing facial ever! As soon as you walk into her place, you feel a calming come over you. It is decorated so cool. Ann makes you feel so relaxed! I have been going to Ann for over five years. I highly recommend Wax and Relax! you will not be disappointed! read more

I just realized that I've been going to Ann since 2011. Anyone who can get me to rip my hair out on a consistent basis for three years has got to be good ... and we are not talking my eyebrows folks. If you have never had a Brazilian or bikini wax, you should probably go to Ann first. She is the sweetest person and despite how awkward it is to carry on a conversation sans pants, she makes you comfortable. Seriously. I'm at the point were I can say anything to Ann without my underwear on. She probably knows my body better than my boyfriend ... but he is definitely a fan of her work! Is that too much? Did I just go too far? Well, I am not done. She also is an expert in essential oils. She can mix up personalized products just for you. I swear by her sugar scrub and body butter. It's amazing. I want to eat my own arm after getting out of the shower, that is how good I smell. Everyone says diamonds are a girl's best friend, but they are highly mistaken. Ann Reed is a girl's best friend. She will make you smell good, look good, and feel good. read more

I called Ann as a new client and she went out of her way to fit me in with my time constraints. I was so happy that I met her. I needed my eyebrows waxed and I am really particular about it. SHE DID AMAZING!! I will be going back and will recommend her to all my friends. Her price is awesome too. ONLY $15 and the first waxing is FREE!!! An added note, I have sensitive skin and the wax she uses was actually the best for my skin and did not irritate it. Definitely go see her. From a dude's perspective she is cool and gets you in and out. From a girl's perspective she really listens to exactly how you want them done and gives it to you. The quality is great! Cheers! read more

I just got home from getting my eyebrows waxed by Ann Reed -- http://waxingbyann.com/ I was a first time client -- so I received my first eyebrow wax free of charge. By the way, if you're a first time client she will do this for you, too! ANN WAS AMAZING. Not only is her location convenient and easy to find parking, her service room is adorable, welcoming, and clean. The music she played was so relaxing and the wax she used felt amazing. It didn't hurt AT ALL and was the perfect temperature. Ann was very conversational, and made it feel like I had been going there for a while. She took her time to make sure my eyebrows were perfect and let me tell you -- they are now!! I have been getting my eyebrows waxed since I was 16. My go-to place was in Flagstaff -- but my usual lady left on maternity leave about a year or two ago and ever since I have not been able to find someone good. I was finally referred to Ann and now I'm wondering why the heck did it take this long to find her?! She's the best -- better than my go to in Flag was!! For the first time ever I have the correct starting points, ending points, and angles to my eyebrows. I never thought this would be possible to achieve without the addition of makeup. Thank you Ann!!! And I highly recommend her to ANYONE!!! read more

Ann is the best! She was able to get me in right away and she works quickly which is always good for me. Her studio is awesome! Very Zen and relaxed atmosphere, very clean and professional. It's a great location right in old town with easy parking. Excellent experience! read more

Ann was the first person I ever let wax me. To say Im in good hands is a understatement. I can't say waxing doesn't hurt, but with Ann its always hurt a lot less than any where else I've ever been or with anyone else I've ever let do it. Right in the heart of the entertainment district. The vibe is very relaxing. I feel like I could probably fall asleep while I'm in there... Haha. Ann makes you feel like family, and her caring conversation is awesome. Love this place! read more

***update: Even though Ann doesn't have someone taking appointments for her, anytime I need her or need an appointment I just text her and she gets back to me within a day. I had searched and searched for an eyebrow expert. Finally!! I found Ann. She fixed my arch and design and I couldn't be happier. Her prices are super reasonable and her waxing room is relaxing. She also carries the Blinc eye line products. Obsessed with their liquid liner, amplified mascara and eyeliner pencil!! (Sorry, Ann! I posted this on Jennifer's salon site by accident at first!) read more

Ann is amazing to say the least. She is always so kind, gentle and warm. She always has the right words for me and I appreciate her more than she knows! My brows look amazing and she might be the only esthetician I've been to who actually preserves the full shape of my brows and doesn't wax away those tiny hairs that I ask her to keep. She manages to shape them while keeping them full and they're just awesome now. Thanks, Ann! You're amazing at your craft! read more

I have been going to Ann for 5 years for all of my waxing needs. She is a magician with brows and incredibly professional. She will make you feel instantly comfortbale regardless of what area she is waxing. I always leave thrilled with my results. Very happy to have found her after going to European Wax Center and never feeling fully satisfied or understood in my brow goals. read more

So I have been going to Ann for 4 years. I happened upon her here on yelp and decided to give her a try based on photo reviews of eyebrows she's done and was impressed. The vibe and energy she has going in her salon is bar to none. I actually can't help but buying a handmade oil or soap or sticker or crystal every time I go in. She even creates jewelry, all natural lip balms and allergy oil blends, which I have found helpful. She does such a great job! My eyebrows have never looked so perfect. But my absolute favorite thing she does, is a reiki facial! It is literally the best experience every single time. She does a massage on both arms and legs and feet. She does a whole neck and shoulder massage, which I haven't found most esthetician's do. It's AMAZING! She uses this chocolate mask which makes my skin glow and smells sooo good. You can not leave this place without a smile on your face. I absolutely would recommend wax & relax to anyone, and plan on treating my mom to a full facial next time she comes to visit! So happy to have found you, Ann! Also I should add she has the cutest greeter ever- Buddy. The goodest boy around. read more

I don't trust anyone else to make my weird, scraggly, awkward brows look beautiful! She's amazing

Had an excellent experience. Extremely clean, quick and professional!!! The vibe was very relaxing and comforting as it was my very first wax experience!!! Will definitely by back!!! read more

This lovely lady is all good vibes. She enjoys doing eyebrows and that's what makes her fabulous at it. No Asian-thin horror stories here! I gave her 25% tip cause I fell in love with her energy and it was $25 total... She also makes her own sugar scrubs, jewelry, and candles! All around, Ann deserves the business. I was a first-time client but I don't think she endorses the first-time-free offer anymore... Either way, I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my appointment and my skin wasn't irritated in the slightest even though its sensitive. Cheers!! read more

Before Ann did my eyebrows, I didn't think it really mattered. My eyebrows are light and not an obvious feature on my face. After Ann waxes she darkens my eyebrows and WOW, now I look younger than my age. Also using the Blinc eyeliner and mascara, which is awesome, did not think I could wear eye make up anymore. Thank you Ann for making me look younger and excited about make up again! read more

Ann is amazing. She is the only person I will let near my brows. She is a perfectionist and I can't say enough good things about her. Her energy is on point, I'm always comfortable and her facials make me feel like I slept for hours and I just love her! read more

Up until yesterday I had only ever experienced Ann's amazing waxing services. Now I can say I have been truly pampered by one of Ann's wonderful aromatherapy facials. My skin feels fabulous! I left Ann feeling like I was floating on a cloud. read more

Ann is HANDS DOWN the best Aesthetician that I have ever been to! She listens and delivers quality work. That is why I have been a customer for over over a year. If your thinking about keeping yourself looking RIGHT??? Think ANN! read more

Adore Ann!! I went in with these crazy bushy brows and she magically transformed me. The shape fit MY face rather than a generic shape from a stencil. And she took her time to make sure they were just right. After a couple weeks growth I went back in and they just get better every week!! She's amazing! The wax is perfect temperature. The room is warm, cozy, relaxing and has a very chill vibe. I loved it and will definitely continue to go back :) I love my brows now! She used to do the 1st wax for free back in 2012 (my first one was free) but had to discontinue that and upped her price from $15 to $20. I try to space my waxes out a little farther apart because I'm a broke college student, and it gets expensive lol... But I'd rather pay Ann the $20 and have PERFECT brows, than go to any other salon for cheaper and have jacked up brows. Paying for quality!!! Love this girl :) OH and she always squeaks me in when she has time inbetween clients or at short notice. She's easy to work with, and she's willing to help ya out! :) I try not to make that a habit, but when it's a serious situation I know she'll get me in as soon as she can :) Wouldn't trust anybody else to touch the brows now! read more

Ann is just perfect! She is unlike any other Esthetician I have ever met, from the moment I arrived I instantly was comfortable in her space. She made me feel welcomed and let me express my concerns and heard my needs. She started working on my brows and was giving my direction on what I should do to accomplish what I wanted. I was so used to filling in my brows, but when I looked in the mirror she had shaped them so perfectly for my face shape that I didn't even need to fill them in! I am a loyal customer and see her every two weeks, I can't live without her!! Thank you Ann for all you do and being so flexible and easy to schedule with my busy schedule! read more

I have been going to Ann for my eyebrows for a while now. I will never go anywhere else. If she moves out of state, I move as well. lol. Seriously though, you can't get any better then her attention to detail. My eyebrows are always perfect and seem to be growing in thicker. I would recommend anyone suffering from thin or uneven eyebrows to check Ann out. She is the best! read more

Ann is amazing. Whatever you have done by her, you leave the salon feeling like a million bucks!! Always makes your day.

I have been going to Ann for over ten years. In those ten years, I have never had a negative experience. I have referred her to many friends and even people who stop me to compliment my eyebrows (which happens often). I wouldn't trust anyone else to do my brows. Ann is the best! She is not only professional, but welcoming and creates a comfortable environment to ensure a positive experience. read more

I have been going to Ann for waxing for over FIFTEEN years and I would never trust my brows to anyone else. Ann is not your everyday aesthetician, she is a gifted brow artist. Great brows may not come over night, but they will happen if you follow her instructions. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she has such a kind, loving spirit that you will thoroughly enjoy any time you are lucky enough to spend with her. Her treatment room has such an incredible calming spirit that I feel amazing every time I leave. Oh and her facials are a treat too! Check her out, you won't be sorry. read more

I drive 40+ miles round trip to get waxed by Ann. Everyone thinks I'm crazy but I would drive even further because she is the best! I am very particular about my eyebrows and have had many horrible experiences in the past, but Ann puts me at ease. I know I will love the shape and they will be even! I also have very sensitive skin but the wax she uses does not make my skin break out and the redness is gone in less than 30 minutes. Ann is professional, personable, and her prices are very reasonable. I recommend Ann to all my friends and anyone looking for a great Aesthetician. read more
