While visiting Disney's California Adventure for the Holidays, we noticed that a lot of bands were playing at the Festival of Holidays, which was right next to the Studio Catering. My family and I got lucky! We had seats up close to the bands! While waiting for the show, we did end up stopping by the Studio Catering, which is in the Hollywood Land area at California Adventure. It's not a traditional sit down restaurant. It's a quick service, food truck style casual counter where you can get tasty snacks, seasonal handhelds, and refreshing beverages. The placement is inspired by the Hollywood backlots and the film production. The Studio Catering Co focuses on rotating and seasonal offerings. For special events like Halloween or the Disney Food & Wine Festival, there are usually creative options such as burritos with unique fillings, tacos, nachos, Mickey Shaped Pretzels, and other specialty snacks. There is usually a unique line up for seasonal beverages too. The menu regularly changes throughout the year. During the 2025 Festival of Holidays, the Studio Catering Co was offering Beef Brisket Sliders, Mickey Mouse Pretzel, and the Filipino Feast Burrito. We ended up getting the Filipino Feast Burrito which included Pork Belly Adobo Fried Rice, Pancit, and Lumpia in a warm flour tortilla with a sweet Chile dipping sauce. The burrito was huge! Good thing we ended up sharing it! The burrito was delicious! I'll have to try and make something similar at home! Discounts are accepted at the Studio Catering which include -Magic Key Holder Discounts -Disney Vacation Club Discounts -Disney Visa Cardmember Perks Studio catering is typically open around 11:00 A.M until park closure. We had an amazing meal here while watching the bands play!

Disney California's own little resident food truck, and it's good! Studio Catering is tucked away in the Hollywood area surrounded by a bar area and a stage that offers performances throughout the day. And the food can be surprisingly on point. Studio Catering rotates out seasonal and event-themed burritos, and the most recent burrito, the Filipino Feast, was delicious. Stuffed with pancit, garlic rice, pork belly, and lumpia, it truly felt like an indulgent bite into a plate of Filipino classics. Even with a larger fatty piece of pork belly, it was a carb loaded delight. I could not help but gobble. They also offer sliders and other small bites depending on the time of year. Overall, the food here is consistently good to really good, making it a solid stop when you want a hearty bite without a full sit-down meal during your Disneyventures. Pro tip: during popular food events, order through your Disney mobile app. It saves so much time and avoids unnecessary waiting, so you can make more time for the more important ques and activities.

I really love that this spot has different seasonal items for their burritos throughout the year. The ones I've tried have been really good. Their Asian one was a mix of orange chicken, slaw, chow mein and rice and tasted like Panda Express. And during the holidays they have a Filipino feast one that is literally a party on a plate (wrapped in a burrito!) with adobo pork belly, garlic fried rice, pancit and a lumpia served with sweet chili sauce. Delicious! Also great you can mobile order on the Disneyland app for fast service in a causal setting. Tables also convenient next to the truck!

    1. The tacos were simple and good! The Agua Fresca was refreshing! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! It is located in Hollywood Land! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with the order! It was ready within 5 mins after ordering! 4. There is only an outdoor seating area! There are few tables! 5. There are restrooms nearby! Note: This spot has the option for mobile ordering! Love trying the burritos from here! Their last burrito (Lomo Saltado) here was pretty good! Now for Halloween, they have the Oogie Boogie burrito aka Disneys take on the California burrito. And it's pretty dang good! The meat was seasoned well and not dry. There was a good amount of meat and plenty of cheese, fries, and sour cream. My main complaint was that half the burrito was cold. If the burrito was warmed up thoroughly, I know it would've been DELICIOUS (especially if the cheese was melted). Surprisingly, the flavor and crunch of the blue takis worked for me. I'd get this again!

Studio Catering seems to always have to best options when it comes to holiday specials. This time around I got to have the Oogie Boogie Burrito, and let me tell you.. OMG is it amazing. The takis pair so perfectly with the carne asada and guac. The ambiance is great spot for lunch at DCA, plenty of shaded places to have a quick bite.

I enjoying stopping by here to try out their seasonal burritos! Tried out the Lomo saltado burrito. The Serrano salsa had really great flavor. The steak, fries, rice and peppers were pretty good. My only criticism is for $14 it was on the smaller side. The cucumber blueberry mint lemonade was super good! But again for $7.75 it's a little steep. Pretty good food and drinks here, but pretty pricey.

The Baseline: For theme park to-go food stands the food must be tasty, have an experience, reliable service, and be a part of the experience. Food: I have had different food experiences at the Studio Catering Co. stand over the years and it is really tasty for a food stand at a Disney park. This trip was the Lomo Saltado Burrito which was meaty, peppery, fries-tastic, and salsa-rific! This is a great grab-n-go food option for the massive amount of offerings at DCA. Service: I am hard pressed to find an un-friendly Disney cast member that is assisting me. Service is great and they will always let you know if there is a delay or problem. Had a food delay a few months back here and the staff was helpful and awesome then as they were today. Ambiance: If you want to sit right near the food stand/truck there isn't a lot of shade. This is in the Hollywood Studios area of California Adventure and is themed for the area. As of June 2025, I do not know if this will go once they start Avatar land but for now I love that it is here.

Studio catering always has fun options, but this review is for specially the Oogie Boogie Burrito. That thing is the best burrito I've had at the parks so far, and for quick service lunch/dinner I think this is my favorite in DCA. The takis really set it off and the crane asada is super flavorful.

Waiting for food.. during festival of holidays

We go here often to try some of the festive and innovative food they have. The service wasn't the fastest this time around but we did enjoy the festival of holidays show while we waited so it was all good. We ordered the Boat Snacks Burrito, I was low-key, scared that there was too much going on as far as what was in it. To my surprise, it was amazing. The juicy kalua pork with the crunch from the cole slaw and the sweet and tangy pineapple was a flavor explosion in my mouth. The mac salad was island style, not da kine you but at the grocery store. My husband liked it as well. We were fighting over it, lol.

Been to Disney's California Adventure countless times, but yesterday was the first time we ate at Studio Catering. After the new orange chicken burrito got tons of social media attention, we had to try it. And to be honest, it did not disappoint. It was really good. My husband and I shared it, as it's a lot to eat on your own. By that I mean, it has orange chicken, chow mien, and fried rice all rolled into a burrito. Imagine a Panda bowl rolled into a burrito. That's exactly what this is...lol! The burrito is served with fried wonton chips that are perfectly crispy. So half was plenty each was plenty for us. Hopefully the new orange chicken burrito stays around for a while, cuz I would definitely get it again.

    Butter Chicken Burrito
    Trina D.

I've been to Studio Catering a few times for hot food. This time around I wanted to try the Butter Chicken burrito which sounds good on paper but execution was weird. First of all butter chicken is supposed to be saucy. This butter chicken was dry. The green mint sauce served with it as a dip was weird to add to the burrito. Do not try it. The chicken and rice combination in the burrito was tolerable. It was okay. I would not order it again. I kind of regretted not getting the Ramones nachos that were offered for Pixar Fest. Just at the last food festival, I tried the chicken lollipops at Studio Catering and they were for sure 5 stars good. The chicken was served piping hot which none of the other food stands can boast so I was impressed. I'll give Studio Catering more chances when they change out the burrito options. They've previously had a bulgogi burrito and a sisig burrito.

Orange chicken burrito - We'll pass on this one next time!
    Carrie R.

I had seen the Orange Chicken burrito on social media - so I looked it up when we went today. The description sounded pretty good: Crispy orange chicken, lo mein noodles, vegetables and egg fried rice, in a flour tortilla. Well, I would say that it fell really short!! The orange chicken was not crispy, I didn't really notice lo mein and the fried rice was pretty tasteless! Actually, the entire thing was tasteless! If it weren't for the sweet/spicy sauce and wonton chips, this burrito would have been a total bomb! At least the sauce gave it a little bit of flavor and the wonton chips were pretty tasty. I just wish we would have gotten a little more chips. Unfortunately, this burrito stayed with me the rest of the day. I kinda got a touch of heartburn - so it was just a reminder of the awful burrito. Nice try DCA! But I'll pass on this one next time!! I definitely wouldn't recommend this one

Tony greeted me on the phone and I could feel his smiles radiating through the cell. When we arrived Tony was happy to see us. Dude is high on happiness! It was fun to watch him work: he lifted the curtain --called into the kitchen the number of banh khot and pickup time, a sweet female voice responded and then minutes later out came boxes of hot crispy banh khot. The restaurant is the true definitions of your "hole in the wall". One table with 2 chairs in the middle, and a few stools facing the window. Outside has the two knee level tables and squat chairs, like the ones in Asia. The banh khot from this hole in the wall is bomb which makes this place the top winner of all holes in the wall! THE SAUCE- it's the best nuoc mam fish sauce to pair with banh khot! Savory and not too sweet. One of the best 'crack' sauce! We ordered a small sauce, Tony was generous and gave us the large jar. He probably knew we'd drink all of it. The banh khot was the high light of our party! They were still crispy and fresh even after hours of traffic. We didn't get a chance to take pix of the two gorgeous boxes 'cause the family gobbled them before we knew it.

Her transparency, responsiveness, attention-to-detail and professionalism consistently set her apart. Brittany was always proactive and reliable; we never had to chase for answers or run around in circles. One of the greatest advantages was her delivery of timely, updated quotes--something we deeply appreciated for effective budget management. Even before we booked the venue, Brittany walked us through detailed rain contingency plans, which proved invaluable when we encountered a once-in-a-blue-moon torrential downpour on our wedding day. As a bride coordinating family travel from across the globe--while also navigating significant challenges with an approved vendor--Brittany stepped in at critical moments and ensured the day ran smoothly from an operational standpoint. Our guests could not stop praising the outstanding, multicultural food (especially the bulgogi beef bao, dessert stations and confetti cake) and the thoughtful allergy accommodations, which were handled seamlessly. Guest experience was one of our top priorities, and Brittany's execution gave us complete confidence. On our wedding day, anything within her scope was something we never had to worry about - and the food was one of the TOP compliments received from guests. The only feedback we strongly encourage the business to consider is a thorough audit of its approved vendor list. Unfortunately, our greatest challenges stemmed from a vendor on this list. Brittany's efforts were instrumental in mitigating issues caused by this vendor that could have otherwise impacted the success of the event. The strength of Serra Plaza's internal team deserves to be matched by the same standard across all required vendors to protect future couples. Beyond this, our experience was exceptional, and we are deeply grateful for Brittany's leadership and support. Thank you to the full team for stepping up to the plate when we needed it the most to execute the best day ever.
