The breakfast area was spotless, truly "brand new" clean, and the food was fresh, well stocked, and honestly delicious for hotel food. But Terra is what made this stay stand out. Even when it was busy, she was everywhere, keeping everything clean, full, and running smoothly while constantly checking in with guests. She brought such a genuine, positive energy to the space. What really stood out was how she connected with people. She took the time to show my son how things worked and explain why, and I saw her doing the same for other families. That level of care is rare. The best way to describe her is superhuman. She is truly next level. Every hotel needs a Terra.

There were stains on the sheets and pillows, hair and dirt in the sink, and an incredible amount of dust and hair behind the bed. It looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in at least 5 years. We immediately left and went to another hotel. (Fairfield Inn in Du Bois which was much nicer and cleaner) We called the front desk to let them know and ask for a refund. He lied and said we checked out in the morning at a random time and refused to refund us. Stay literally anywhere else.

There were several big garbage cans all over that were overflowing with trash (one right outside out door, how lovely) and the parking lot was not lit well. Since all of the hotel rooms are on the ground level, a well-lit parking lot should be a safety/liability no-brainer. All that said, we just decided to skip the continental breakfast.
