Even when it was busy, she was everywhere, keeping everything clean, full, and running smoothly while constantly checking in with guests. She brought such a genuine, positive energy to the space. What really stood out was how she connected with people. She took the time to show my son how things worked and explain why, and I saw her doing the same for other families. After she gave me the keys to my room, I had to ask where the levator was The room was incredibly large. I didn't see dirt on the floor but after walking on it barefoot, my feet were dirty. There were hairs in the shower. There was no electric fan in the bathroom. The rest of the room seemed fine. There was a tub with a shower that also had a hand-held showerhead. There was a stable, locked shower chair next to installed dispensers for Zero brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There were all kinds of safety bars for balance. The room included a microwave, refrigerator, convenient USB outlets and power outlets. I had a room with 2 queen beds, a desk, a single club type of chair, a built in shelf for a nightstand, a large flat screen TV, and 2 mirrors. The Hilton website said employees wear masks and that you can check in on their app. Neither was true. But the room was quiet. The hotel was directly across the street from the hospital.

The two hotels where I would generally stay, were sold out. I did not want to drive too far out of the way for my morning appointment. Ramada, those are nice, right? Reputable? Mid-tier, according to the Wyndam website. The photos looked great...the price was cause for concern. Needed a place to lay my head so, booked online. Pull up and knew this was a mistake. Walked into lobby, thought well, maybe not. The lobby was immaculate. There was even a cozy fire going. Get to room, by driving to the other side of the hotel. The facade on the outside was falling off. Missing completely in places. Entry door to hotel does not lock. No key needed to get in. The bed and headboard looked new. That is where it ended. The bathroom was awful. Only the mirror light worked, so, it was dark. There was a huge stain on the carpet. The cloth chair looked stained and dusty. The non-carpeted floor looked new, but it was sticky. Completely uncomfortable all night...but for $55 should I expect more? @Wyndam should really look into properties bearing their name.
