I've been visiting Studio5Glam for some months now. Valerie, esthetician, does a great job with facials and waxing brows. Her room upstairs is super relaxing, and Valerie is good at what she does. Payton! She's a friendly little soul who has given me the some best haircuts ever! All staff is so nice and accommodating. This business was formerly somebody's house that has been transformed into a relaxing place to get glammed up! read more

I am so impressed with the service I received here! I went in for a brow wax and tint from Valerie and have never had someone take as much time and attention to detail as she did. You can tell she really cares about her craft and her clients. I am so happy I found this place and definitely would recommend. read more

I called yesterday and scheduled an appt for my grand daughter. I was able to get an appt today at 6pm. I was told they needed a credit card in order to schedule the appt and their policy was that they need 24 hrs notice to cancel or I woukd be charged. We left at 5:35pm so we would be sure to be a few min early. I received a call at 5:43pm from the receptionist saying there was sone kind of scheduling issue and they would not be able to do her hair cut today. They only gave us 17 min notice to cancel our appt. I find it pretty rude to tell me/clients they have to give at least 24hr notice, then only give about 15min notice. Had i known earlier i might have been able to get her in somewhere else today. I won't try them again, there lack of respect for my time is not worth it. I would give them no stars if I could. read more

I saw Jaeko for a Japanese Zen Facial and it was amazing. It's like a massage (all but back) and super moisturizer for the face. The only downside was that it has to end. Highly recommend! read more

It took 5 and a half hours for a partial foil!!! Ridiculous!!! Then despite the lack of talking for the most part, I was charged for the root smudge, the additional color and toner. I did not request any of these?!! Gary is terrible. He overcharged and spoke very little. No explanation as to why it was taking so long. He asked for what I wanted and then never finished the conversation and went to mix up colors -I wanted brighter and got darker! Never ever go there and waste your whole day!!! read more

Love the studio 5 Glam crew! I have been coming here on and off for years. In 2021 February I came here for my maternity hair and makeup and the look made me feel amazing and confident in my pictures! I also came here post baby for a TLC day and they made me feel so glammed. It's always a fun conversation going to Studio 5 and you leave feeling beautiful and relaxed. read more

I had followed my hairdresser from the salon they left. Went a few times and it got more pricey every time. Took way too long. And upon checkout I left a generous tip. A few days later I look online at my bank account and discover I was charged twice for the tip. I called them immediately and was told it will drop off in a day or two and it was a mistake. Uh uh checked with my bank and they said they legit charged you twice. So I went in there and they said the owner was not there but I was told she will be made aware and get back to me. Nope. I got the run around and kept telling them it is not dropping off of my bank account. I finally went in there showed them on my phone and they gave me cash back. Keep in mind this was the owner that charged me twice when I checked out from my services. Never went back. I lost a great hairdresser over this and they lost a customer forever. Too many things going on in there. Noisy. Not relaxing at all. A good chance you will get bounced from room to room. read more

I had a true hair emergency and the staff there made sure I was taken care of and was able to get me in at the last minute, they offered me sparking water while I was waiting for the product to set. They where all very understanding of situation and where very empathetic to what I was going through. It felt comfortable there and relaxing. Katie and Kiana and the whole staff where very friendly. I would highly recommend this place for any occasion. They did a wonderful job on my hair and I LOVE how it turned out. read more

My review is super late, but every time I style my hair I think about how much I love it...so I stopped mid-style to write this review To start, the studio was super welcoming and parking was a breeze. Lots of product choices and low-pressure sales. I felt more like I was prescribed only necessary products that were tailored to my needs. Katie is phenomenal. She made me feel so comfortable, truly listened to my goals (which were lofty ) and set me on a course to achieve them. She truly delivered! Katie gave me the shag haircut of my dreams, and also educated me on how to style. I was very hesitant to ask for one, because they can easily go south, but this is not the 80's shag that I was afraid of getting. My hair has so much movement, and I feel so cute and trendy, which was what I needed after years of blunt all-one-length haircuts. Katie was clearly passionate about this haircut, and demonstrated her skills well. She was intentional, and took all of my hair characteristics and lifestyle goals into account. My hair is quick and easy (important because I have a wild toddler) and looks polished while still being casual. Katie absolutely nailed it. 10/10 would recommend read more

I love my hairrr!!! she knows what she doin! hit up trina she's so sweet she had my hair feel nice and soft and the product she used smells so amazing. everything about trina's work is the best in my opinion. read more

Girls are pretty nice and the facility is cute. I asked for their most experienced stylist. She did an ok job but didn't strike me as very experienced. If I'm going to pay $65 for a hair cut I prefer to not have to style it myself. The stylist did admit she didn't know how to style my hair. It is anything complicated. My hair is fine and the length is just below the ear. Also they will charge you if you don't cancel ahead of time. They tried to charge me when I canceled even though I didn't get a reminder. They said they emailed but I never received an email. read more

Very poor customer service. they are ridiculous. I wait and wait to get a consultation and finally someone shows up and gave a ridiculous price for only denying my hair. I think she saw my car and thought I'm stupid enough to pay her that much. Lol... read more

After moving an hour away 5 years ago, I have tried several different local hairstylists. NOBODY was able to do my hair like Chris. I finally decided to return and brave the hour drive. It is SO worth it! When I returned to the salon, my hair was a total wreck. Chris was able to return my hair back to what I originally had. It was burned and broken. I LOVE you Chris! You spoiled me rotten and got me back to myself! I will forever recommend you and your salon! My upmost praise for you and your talent! I am still in awe of how you blended my hair with EXTENSIONS. You are so talented and so FAST! I will never go anywhere else! read more

I made a consultation appointment for hair. The Hairdresser looked at my hair did not even touch or feel it then told me the price of highlights and then the price of a haircut. I was OK with the price of the highlights the haircut just seemed overpriced for a trim that's all I needed not a style. When I asked why so expensive I was told that's just the price it is. She could've at least just said we're going to deep condition it or something to try to sell that $65 hair trim. I could tell she didn't want to do my hair. read more

Shoutout to Sally! She is very patient and meticulous. I loved that she really took the time to make my hair look the way I wanted. It was the haircut style that she was not very familiar with but she definitely nailed it. Thank you Sally and Studio 5 Glam. read more

This is going to be my new go-to for fashion colored hair. Katie was super knowledgeable during my consult. She made me feel well-prepared. Then I had such a fun time getting my hair dyed with her. I liked everything about my experience. Shout-outs to Chris, Honnah, and Kylee for also pitching in to apply color to my hair. I felt pampered and now I get so many compliments about my hair. read more

I'm so glad I decided to try this salon and made an appt with Chris. I knew I wanted a few minutes beforehand for a consult regarding trying a new hairstyle (with both a new salon and stylist, that was very brave of me). After using the Get in Touch link from their website I was able to inquire about a pre appt consult. I was promptly contacted and, via text, was able to conveniently book my appointment. I brought with me some notes and pictures of what I like and don't like and Chris and I discussed various options. Her questions were spot on and because I asked for her opinion, she was clear about what she thought would work well with my hair and how it would effect the overall look and ease of styling. In very little time it was obvious to me that she had the experience, know how and thoughtfulness to help me. Feeling very positive about the consult eased a lot of my stress. I'm glad I waited, researched and read so many reviews. Being new to Arlington, I really wanted to choose the right salon for me but thought I'd probably have to try at least a couple before I found the right one. I feel very lucky to have found the best stylist and salon for me on my first try. I'm 100% confident with and looking forward to future appointments with Chris. I'm also very impressed with the salon as a whole. Check-in was a prompt and good experience. The salon itself is clean, well organized and the decor is calming and pleasant. I felt at ease there. I noticed right away that the products there are of high quality. I recognized some of the brands and I was very impressed to find one skincare brand in particular because I'm aware of their high quality standards. If this brand is available at this salon, I'm confident Studio 5 Glam must be required to maintain a certain standard of professionalism and quality of service. I also noticed one or two brands I was not familiar with. I think some salons choose two or three product lines (some of which change from time to time) based on trends and profit. My sense is that Chris selects the products she carries based on performance and that, perhaps, is why you'll find one or two more product lines available there. I'm looking forward to trying one of their spa treatments very soon and I've already pre-booked my next haircut. I'm really very impressed and glad I gave Studio 5 Glam a try. read more

Update! My wife thought she'd give them a second chance (I never would have). She called to make an appointment. Spoke with who she thought was someone named "Hannah". She was told that appointments were at least a month out. She said it appeared they didn't want her business. They hung up on her. Second chance complete read more

Honnah is my go to girl for everything from color to cut! She is fantastic and I've never had three hours fly by so quickly!

This was my first time coming here and I was reluctant because I've had many bad experiences with hair stylists from different places. Most stylists I've gone to in the past (Regis Salon) have either been really frustrated with my thick and unruly hair and end up doing a poor job. I was very very happy with Honnah from Studio5 Hair Design. I was amazed how great she was with my hair! I've never been this happy with the outcome of her work on my hair! I will continue going to her in the future. She's amazing! I'm sure she's great with all types of hair, but if you have a lot of thick hair and are worried about trying out a new stylist, you can be safe with her! :) my hair was beautiful when she was done. Very fun and colorful atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and patient with my hair. Never been more pleased with a Salon. read more

I have had 2 facials and my brows waxed and tinted in the last 5 weeks by Kayla. She did an amazing job on both services! The salon is also so clean and darling! I will be coming back regularly! read more

I see the aesthetician, Maryiah. She is amazing! She does the best sugaring I've ever had. I had a full Brazilian and underarm sugaring service done on my first visit. I have been licensed in the beauty industry for over 12 years and I was very impressed by the professionalism and attention to detail the staff provided. Even during covid I was still able to feel safe and pampered. I love the quiet charm and welcoming feel of this spa. It was so relaxing and comfortable. I definitely rebooked for my next appointment and I highly recommend everyone to go for a visit and try it yourself. read more

This is a fantastic salon different from the typical mundane corporate salons or overpriced "fancy" salons. The style of the salon and the atmosphere is stylish, chic, fun, and relaxing! The salon has great products, makeup, and services for an even better price. The TIGI makeup is to die for! Honnah and Heidi are absolute sweethearts making sure everyone is as happy as possible. Honnah helped cut my hair to donate 16 inches to Wigs for Kids and has been cutting, trimming, and styling my hair beautifully ever since! I'm always referring people to this salon because this is a local business worth supporting. So before you think about stopping in at any other salon make sure you check out this salon! read more

Honnah is a fantastic hair designer. I had brunette hair & wanted Togo blonde, and she didn't make me feel awkward at all like other hair stylists do and she talked me through the process. She was very supportive and helped me find the right products, and best of all---her highlight job was amazing!!! I really loved her attitude & her work. Definitely recommend her!! read more

My very picky wife and I have been coming here from Mill Creek for 10 years now. ....wouldn't go anywhere else!

I feel so lucky to have found such a great salon! The building is a cute craftsman style bungalow, turned into a full service salon- wood floors, a fireplace with bright, fun tile work, and lots of charm. I had a Japanese Hair Straightening treatment here, after having lousy luck finding a good place where someone was trained to do this in Everett. I also got a trim at the same time. Chris (the owner) was wonderful. I could tell that she really cared how my hair turned out. They are up on all the new cuts, treatments, etc. If you live in Arlington, you are sitting on a gem here, and if you don't, it's worth the drive!! read more

Excellent Eyelash Extension Exquisitely Applied!!!! I love Studio 5!!!! =D

I have had the privilege of the owner of Studio 5 being my stylist for 15 plus years. Following her from her original salon in Everett simply because of her knowledge, creativity and customer service skills. There were times in the past where I needed to go to other salons due to my schedule changes and paid a dear price only to have to schedule an "emergency" color fix or cut and learned my lesson. The owner takes pride in her work, and expects nothing less from her employees. The owner takes her team of stylists to hair shows and workshops which ensures that her and her employees are always current on today's trends and styles. The service is you receive the minute you walk through the front door until the second you leave is in my opinion is TOP NOTCH and I have never been to any other salon that makes sure you are completely taken care of for your entire visit. The staff is also accommodating to your schedule and most important, won't let you out of your chair until you're 100% satisfied and happy! If for some reason you aren't and explain why, you won't be left feeling like a jerk for saying so, or feeling like you are a bother. They TRULY want their clients walking out of the salon feeling beautiful. In fact, just earlier this year I was running late to drop by to get my blue and green extensions put in real quick for the Superbowl but didn't make it in time. I texted the owner and 5 min later one of the girls drove back to the salon, opened it up and put the extensions in for me. If that's not saying something about trying to please your clientele I don't know what is. And of course, having a salon like this in little Arlington is heaven sent as I honestly think I would have to travel to Seattle or Bellevue every six weeks to get the same service and hopefully as skilled stylist. 5 stars from me all day long. read more
