I'm a 16 year old girl, i have brown hair with highlights i've gotten my hair done many times my hair dresser recommended her daughter to me. I asked for a heavy blonde weave and showed a very clear picture of blonde i wanted. asking for a full head of blonde watching my girl do my hair put me in panic. she left out a lot of brown hair and instead of blonde i have grey roots GREY! Not only that but she didn't go to my rolts i have a solid centimeter of DARK brown on my roots then all grey! same with the back of my head but a good two inches. and again i have grey hair way before i should. but my ends are brown. this is not at all what i asked for. i sat in my car and cried after i payed everything i had in my account for this. my prom is this week and i have grey hair i'm very disappointed. and i need this fixed i look like i aged 50 years!! read more

I saw Tiffany, she did a great job, I asked her about getting in for a pedicure while I was processing and they didn't have availability so she did the pedicure herself. Nope, nope, nope. We don't do business with this sort of thing. Not for a second. I booked an appointment with a stylist whose name I'll generously not include. She texted my personal line asking if I could change the time, and I accepted. As the time drew near, she hadn't replied. So I changed my schedule to accommodate her request in the blind. When I called the salon en route to check whether I really had an appointment, she didn't answer. I called the salon instead, and lo abe behold there she was to handle the phone after all. She snapped off an 'Okay,' only after saying that if I was en route that I should forget it. I'm actually not going to forget it. I'm going to write it here, thank you. Let's start from scratch. You reply to business messages, you always reply, and you never, ever ask a client to change their schedule without being d**mned sure you at least respond--*especually* as I tipped 40% on my previous visit *and* left a glowing review here. How wrong I was. Thus endeth my association with this business as a whole, because even if this stylist is an indie contractor, it's far too awkward coming in to see someone else. read more

I so badly wanted to feel beautiful, but I've never felt uglier in my life. The girl left color all over my face. I have stained skin everywhere. I went for a gray cover-up and some highlights. She did way too many highlights and my hair is so brassy. I can still see my grays. She didn't layer my hair like I asked her to. I am so devastated by this. Beautiful Katie, let me count the ways! I have been going to Katie Reeder for haircuts for a little over ten years now. I had seen her a few times back when she was in beauty school because she has been a long time friend of my sisters. My senior year my hair was horribly botched and while I had never much cared about my hair before, because hair grows back, I can honestly say that I was left a little mortified and pretty traumatized. My sister booked my an appointment with Katie who worked diligently to fix my hair the best she could and I have never looked back! She's been through many different experience with me- lots of indecision, fickle hair trims and coloring whims, complete lobs where I had her hand trim my hair down to a cut where she could have honestly probably used the longest setting on the hair trimmers and textured it out- but I preferred the hand scissors, me telling her to do what she felt like, last minute appointments and months and months between maintenance when it should have been mere weeks. She truly is a gem and her salon is beautiful. The staff is friendly and encouraging- when I get my hair done I feel like I have multiple compliments on color choices, style, or even my eyelashes from Sierra- book today. First time at Studio 359 today. First I got my brows waxed by Nicole. She was quick and efficient. They are even and it was barely painful. Then I had Morgan M. Color and cut my hair. She was great. She explained each step to me as she went, she gave suggestions and input and the color turned out exactly as I wanted it. The other staff seemed friendly and the place was well organized and clean. I had my hair cut and colored by Angela. I'm from CA and have friends in Washington UT. I badly needed a haircut and chose Angela from her great reviews. Color was great, as was the cut. If CA shops don't open soom and my girl doesnt return, I may need to go to St George again. We are hoping to be able to leave CA and move to Washington in the near future. I don't know why this place doesn't have a lot of reviews. I liked Angie a lot. NEGATIVES the location doesn't feel very comfortable. Kinda feels like a cheap salon yet they're not. A bit expensive... POSITIVES Angie was very dedicated to doing my hair the way I wanted. Most hair stylists would have charged me double or made me come back to finish. However, she trooped through it and even though it took four hours (my hair was a disaster), she got me looking how I wanted. She was also VERY NICE and did a great job. I recommend this place for her. She will actually listen to you for what you want and won't lie to you about the process. read more

Walked into this salon not 100% sure what I wanted and Celeste Anderson helped me pick out a complimentary cut and color for my face! She is a great stylist ! If something didn't turn out exactly how we imagined she was more than willing to correct/change my hair. Everyone complimented her blending ability in my balayage ombré . I have since returned twice and referred 3 coworkers to her, all leaving very satisfied . She is very friendly, determined , and skilled . I was so excited to visit this studio. I had high hopes from reading the reviews. I called to make an appt for a pedicure and got in the next day. When I called, I was told that the spa pedicure would be AN HOUR LONG and include a soft wax and longer massage for $35. I was willing to pay more than the usual pedicure because they said that it would include those services. When I got there, the lady was nice but she kept talking instead of massaging. It was a super light massage maybe like 2 minutes total. They put these warm towels on my feet and she left them on so long that my feet started to get cold. She got on her phone while I waited. When it was time to do my nail polish, it wasn't great. There was polish left on the outside of my toes and it also wasn't distributed well throughout my nails(could have painted my toes much better myself). When I got outside I noticed that coats where evenly dispersed and looked lighter on parts of the nail and it was brought all the way to the base of the nail making it look like a 2 week old pedicure where the had grown in. I wasn't thrilled or happy with the service. When I go get a pedicure it's to have good service and to feel pampered not frustrated with the crummy job that they did. A pedicure should be relaxing and restful. The massage chairs in there where not great either. Not a good experience. I would not recommend them for their pedicures. read more

I went here to get my nails done for the first time by Jen Young and it was the worst experience... it took her 2 hours to do a gel full set and when I left, I thought I liked my nails until I looked at them... they are all totally uneven. There are random bumps and divots in the gel that aren't supposed to be there. She put the forms on my nails wrong so now there's a big space underneath that gets everything caught in my nails and one of the tips ALREADY broke off which is NOT supposed to happen and I got my nails done 2 days ago.. the nail polish also isn't on right, you can see spots where she should've done another coat and the tips of some don't even have polish. I would NOT recommend her. I could have done a better job myself for half the cost. I do gel nails and this is not the way you do them... don't choose her. read more

Booked an appointment through yelp and got a confirmation email from the salon with date and time. Turned up (not easy as I didn't have my own car) to be told that there was no appointment in their system. Had to leave without having my hair done and it was important that I only had a small window to get it done in. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. I can't speak to the services offered at the salon, but the front desk was an awful, unfriendly experience. I was buying a gift card for a holiday present. Sour, disorganized front desk attendant. Unsmiling employees. I did not feel welcome at all. Short answers to my questions. Couldn't find the gift card envelopes. Woman made me fill out the card itself. And wrote the dollar sign for the amount after the number. No receipt offered. And "gift card" is nothing more than a business card. While the place has been around for a while, and it has good reviews, probably because of the stylist, the front desk needs some work. St. George is a small town. And there are a lot of other businesses. Treat your customers with kindness and respect. I won't be back. read more
