Love this studio!! Can't believe one star review. I saw some rude customer tried to make things cheaper. But, it was shame to see how ppl treat professional service to be that cheap what they expected as price-wise. Anyway! Appreciate their skills and services. Thank you!!

I was considering this place because there were some bad reviews too. But overall, I'm vert satisfied with my family photo!! What we paid was worth it :), i liked that they have brush and hair wax because I needed to fix little bit lol. I really wanted to buy the luxurious frame but Imma just wait until next month :) my mom and sister also liked how photo came from, recommenced :)

I'm a Photographer and I chose Studio 2000 to get my own self portrait taken. This must say ALOT about this place. At first, when I called them up, unlike other Koreatown studios, the service was very friendly! I even got my passport picture taken here and I am NEVER returning to Costco Passport pictures anymore. Here's the deal: 1. Photographer Huh is amazing. she knows the rules of passport photo inside and out. 2. The photo comes out beautifully and she'll take it again if you are not happy. 3. This lady.... has god gifted hand! she touches up your face in less than 10 sec. I can't even do that! and voila, you are 10 years younger! 4. All this... only took 5 min... I mean.. seriously? 5. Total for 4 photos....$10.... seriously? Wow... that's it? 6. Parking validated. BAM. Photographer Huh treated me very well. Instead of treating me as a competitor photographer, she welcomed me and even taught me some tips about equipments and photography. She's been taking photos for over 30 years... she definitely knows what she's doing. Studio 2000 is HUGE and has a full range of top tier equipments with extremely competitive photography services... I would even recommend weddings and engagements here. Studio 2000 is a real legit awesome Photography studio if you guys are looking for a referral. I would personally recommend for: High School portraits, Headshot, family portraits, event photography

DO NOT GO HERE. The owner just took 3shoots. That's all. They don't have basic hair stuff(spray, comb)Unfriendly, unkind.

DO NOT EVER NEVER GO HERE. The owner just took 3 shoots that's all. They called "studio" but they even don't prepare basic hair stuff like a spray and comb. Unfriendly, unkind, charging each 10box every small photoshop. It could be over 60dollars for just a self portrait or passport pictures. Go to downstair studio Hyundae. Much better.

The Chinese Consulate's Office is 2-3 blocks away from Studio 2000, making this a very convenient stop if you are ever in need of passport photos. I was able to get in and out in about 10 minutes with 4 passport photos for $10.90. The staff is also obvious exports at this because they were knowledgeable about photo requirements for various VISAs and Passport applications. Parking, while generally a problem in k-town, was not an issue here. There is a parking lot that Studio 2000 validates for. I highly recommend this!!

It's in an apartment building called The Solair on the second floor; we just parked in guest parking, waited in the lobby, and contacted him when we arrived. He came down to get us and walked us to his studio, which was spacious, clean, and really pretty. There were tons of props and setups available, but since we were just doing a Christmas card shoot, we didn't need much. The studio is also dog friendly, so we were able to bring our two pups for the photos, which was a huge plus. We booked the 25-minute session with two featured photos. Within 24 hours, we got all of our shots and were able to pick a few favorites for edits and prints. The price was very reasonable, and the quality of the photos was excellent. Props and different size stools and chairs are there, and you take as many photos at the click of a button that you're holding! So forget the awkward part of someone telling you how to pose because you'll find out how much of a natural muse you really are here! Thank you Josh for everything! We'll see you next year or so!

I decided to find a proper photography studio that specialized in passports. There was no one else in the studio that day, and I just walked in. The photographer had me sit against the white backdrop and posed me. I asked whether I had to move my hair behind my shoulders or out of my face for a passport photo, and he laughed and said he didn't know. After he took 4 pictures, we sat down at the computer to look at them. I hated all of them. The colors were flat and unflattering, and my lips were slightly parted so he colored my teeth in as opposed to retaking the shot. When he asked which photo I liked, I told him "none of them, really" and suggested taking another. He laughed and said no. I paid $30 for awful photos, and they didn't seem to know anything about passport photo regulations. Really disappointed that I came here. If I were a passport photographer and I didn't have any other clients waiting, I would take as many photos I had to until the client was happy! It's a digital camera and the rest can just be deleted! I ended up going to a mailbox store and paying $17 for a much better photo. Maybe this studio is good for family photos or other sessions, but not passports.

I needed a digital file for mine and it was $20 more. I was more than happy to support small businesses especially ones that provide such high quality service. Thank you Mr. Lim! I hope more people are able to support him before he decides to retire.

We used our engagement photo shoot everywhere - I highly recommend doing both since you'll get comfortable with him for the actual wedding too. 2) for the wedding day: he was a real pro- I had couple shots I really wanted which he took care of those. At the same time, I just let him lead a lot of the photos and ideas, and he came with plenty and made it easy and seamless for me, my partner, our families, and wedding party! Overall, the photos are beautiful - I am impressed with how natural the photos are (their style is very true to the experience and not overly filtered), and how he captured all of our special moments from all different angles. I was especially impressed with the photos he got during ceremony (we only hired him and no additional photographer) but were happy with the amount of photos we got. Also, his turn around time is impeccable, and we're really grateful for his speediness, polish, and beautiful photos! I knew that she would be my engagement session and wedding day photographer even before I got engaged. Naturally she was the very first vendor I booked when he put a ring on it. Mindy has a great eye and pays special attention to those details that matter to brides. Her sunny and cheerful disposition is quite contagious. She is also a responsible vendor in terms of following up and confirming dates and reminders. She's flexible and is so accommodating toward the bride and groom. It saddens me when I hear about couples having to work around the photographer's demands or settling for apprentices because the master photographer is charging an exorbitant price. Tips on what to bring for engagement shoots: 1. A cooler full of ice, water bottles, and a straw so that lipstick/gloss stays on 2. Finger foods like kimbap that can easily be eaten while driving to the next location 3. Lipgloss, powder, blush, oil blotting paper, Q tips, and bobby pins to touch up 4. If going to the beach, bring 2 towels to wipe sand & water off legs & feet. Your clothes will get wet and covered in sand. Also wear flip flops that can get wet or just go barefoot

Jeremy, by far, was the WORST part of my wedding experience. He is lazy, manipulative, rude, so so slow, and makes excuses for every little thing. He will also charge you extra left and right and will not deliver when he says he will. We recently JUST got the final pictures and videos, now almost a year after the wedding I know what he will do once he sees this review. He will make excuses just like he did every step of the way. But honestly, if I can stop one more bride from having a aggravating experience, I will be happy. Fast forward to the wedding day. I had texted him two days prior to the wedding to let him know that we would like him in our hotel room at 1:30pm so that he can take pictures of us getting ready. It was now almost 2pm, he was nowhere to be found, and I had my husband call him. He tells us that he's been sitting in the lobby and that we should've called him earlier. WHY would I need to call him when I told him two days prior to be there at 1:30pm with our hotel room number. I was busy getting ready, and I knew that was going to happen which is why I gave him instructions beforehand. He was obviously just late and instead of letting us know that he might be late or even apologize, he just brushed it off. He didn't even get any picture of my husband and the groomsmen getting ready. After the wedding it was time to take pictures with family and friends. Obviously we relied on him on where to stand for then pictures. Well it turns out ALL of those pictures have a bright circle from the sun. Most of the circles are on our faces. When we brought it up during the editing phase, he told us that it couldn't be removed and that that's just how it is. AND YOU COULDN'T TELL US US THIS WHILE WE WERE TAKING THE PICTURES?! He also chose a place that had guests and workers in the background of our photos. We thought he was editing them out, but he tells us after the fact that they can't be removed. Why didn't we take the pictures at a different location or angle? Mind you the entire time we were asking for the edits he was being defensive and telling us he disclosed all of this to us....well he didn't. We also didn't get any pictures with our wedding singer (even though we specifically hired him for the ceremony and reception) despite our request. It took us about 12 weeks to get the unedited pictures from the wedding.....which was a long time to wait. He shared like 5 pictures as "teasers" but it took him the full 12 weeks to upload the pictures into a file we can look at. NOT EVEN EDITED. So why did it take him that long just to upload? There were 4000+ pictures and he made it sound like we were getting ALL of the pictures as a favor. Well let me tell you that no one needs 4000+ pictures. Most of them were us with weird faces and some weird pictures that no one needed. Just an organized ~500 pictures would've been fine, but no. He uses the 4000+ pictures as an excuse that it took so long..... uploading 500 or 4000+ unedited pictures into a folder for us to view does not take that long. He then told us to pick our favorites to go into the Album, and those pictures would be edited. Well I don't even know what his idea of editing is because the final pictures still had graffiti and bird poop in the background. He told us those can't be edited out. OKAY SO WHY DID WE TAKE THE PICTURES THERE?! Also, every time he gave us a delivery date, it was not met. We always had to follow up and he would tell us "oh I sent it yesterday" .....well you didn't because neither of us got it. He always had something or someone to blame. When I pointed out his terrible customer service, he decided that he wasn't going to talk to me anymore. He sends a message to my husband saying he won't communicate with me anymore. EXCUSE ME I paid for the service. What kind of a business refuses to talk to his clients that paid him?! Because I was pointing out how frustrating it was to work with an arrogant, lying person? He is ridiculous. He was literally the worst part of the happiest day of our lives. If you are considering him, please for the life of me, don't. You will regret the choice. He told us that the wait is worth it for the pictures. Trust me, they are not. P.s. do you really want someone that says "I'm also happy to offer your husband a discount on his next wedding" to be your wedding photographer? Let's think about that one.
