He told me he was a Redken educator that taught in Australia & has worked in a few different states. Ty lighten my hair, layered/textured & trim the ends. I'm very happy with my salon experience-- I have not changed salons in 10 years (I'm from the Bay Area). I'm always worried when I get a haircut, but Ty gave me an excellent haircut & experience. Her highlights at the root on one side were completely uneven. She attempted to add more bleach and then told my daughter she wouldn't be able to blow dry her hair and sent us away with a towel to dry her sopping wet hair. We got home and blow dried and it looked the same as before. Had to go spend another $178 to get it fixed elsewhere. I did reach out to the owner and let her know, she offered us to come back and would try again but I had already taken her to another salon as we wouldn't have had time to go back. Apparently this was acceptable to her and she simply told me to use clarifying shampoo and the blue will fade over time.... Then charged me $110. Usually when i leave my salon i love my hair- not thrilled having to walk around with blue hair " until it fades" wth. I would've asked her to fix it but she seemed to think this was fine and charged me so i knew that was pointless.
