Inside there are a few pastries for sale and a few books for sale of varying genres. I can't speak for the food, as we didn't purchase any, but the owners are so nice and personable. We chatted about favorite books and despite only being here for 11 months, I hope they become a dub-c staple. The owners are a couple, one who went to school for culinary and the other for poetry. Truly a story from a Hallmark movie! Supporting independent bookstores and small POC-owned businesses is a priority for me, and I'm happy to welcome this location to the area. Their book collection is small, but the owner seems to have read most of them or can still give pointers. Still a wide variety of genres for sale, from children's books to horror to Japanese poetry.

It's stocked with used books, mostly from several decades ago, so don't expect to find recent releases. I snagged two Agatha Christie books, which can be challenging to find. It's a fun place to explore, and if you're looking for an older book, this is the place to come.
