Something Different by Eric is a community, non-profit gift shop that celebrates and supports…read moreindividuals with mental disabilities. Eric Wells is an enterprising young man with Down's Syndrome who decided to open a store where people with different mental abilities can sell their artwork & crafts, along with unique gift items. Eric also sells informational and children's books about including individuals with special needs into our lives. They are located in the Rosemont Farmer's Market, with plenty of free parking. Open Thursday - Sunday. I am seriously excited about this business and am really looking forward to my next visit!

What a great shop! They have a wonderful selection of gifts, including things for adults, kids, and…read morebabies. They also have a wonderful selection of locally made gifts (only place I've ever seen Bryn Mawr-themed items!) and Philadelphia sports-themed items. I got all my holiday shopping done in one stop! I also got to meet Eric who was wonderful, and he helped me pick out the perfect gift for my mother. I was also glad to hear about the wonderful work the shop supports. Their new space is beautiful and welcoming; I can't recommend this shop enough! Of note, their address in Yelp is incorrect. They are now located at 814 W. Lancaster Ave (right down the street from the Bryn Mawr film institute).

I was ready to make a life change and to find the proper surgeon to work on my face. I was not…read morecontent with the increasing asymmetry and tired appearance of my eyes as well as witnessing office drama with my latest surgeon. I chose Dr. Lee's practice because of favorable reviews. I'm an adopted Asian American woman (I will be 50 this year) and was having a difficult time connecting with any surgeon that a natural and less evasive approach was what I wanted. I also desired a local physician. Upon meeting Dr. Lee and his capable staff while sitting in his naturally lit treatment room, I was hopeful. Dr. Lee's recommendations (right upper eyelid surgery , both lower eyelids and a silhouette lift mid-face) for me has resulted in a much needed boost in my confidence in as little as 1 month and gaining as I continue to heal beautifully. I am very grateful to have Dr. Lee and his sweet support staff as a valuable resource. They have managed to help me make my transformation remarkably seamless.

I reached out to this office to schedule a consultation. I was asked to send pictures and to…read morespecify what I was seeking. I did so and mentioned what a previous oculoplastic surgeon recommended after surgery with him. I then received a very rude email stating that my eyes were shaped "extremely different" (duh, I know that, that's why I'm seeking help), and that the surgery wouldn't be helpful. No suggestions for an in person consultation. If I look so "extremely" uneven, wouldn't you at least want to try to help me? Photos are limited for evaluation. Also, I just mentioned what one doctor suggested years ago. Obviously I don't believe that what was mentioned then is still what I need. I just finished medical school and honestly, I'm still so peeved and hurt by this unprofessional encounter I felt the need to write. Having a congenital eye disorder results in a lot of insecurities, and having a sensitive bedside manner is really important when helping potential patients. I felt awful about myself after this encounter and stopped seeking help for some time...I just hope whoever wrote that email has learned to be more sensitive towards vulnerable patients. PS I lived 10 min from the office at the time I asked about a consultation.
