    I came here on multiple occasions this past week to purchase decorations and several flower…read morearrangements. While they have a nice selection of seasonal decor, the service (from a particular employee) was very rude. I had previously requested a particular arrangement but when I came in to pick up the arrangement it was completely different than what had been specified. Instead of neutral / white, it was all red roses. The florist I had originally spoken to was not in the store, and the florist that was there instead spoke to me as if it were my fault when I had given specific instructions. She did make a new arrangement which turned out to be quite lovely. Unfortunately, the arrangement died within a few days. We had meant for it to survive through the week (through 2 dinners we were hosting), so had to come back in to get a new arrangement. This being right before Christmas, the pickings were slim, so I chose whatever flowers I could find, and the same florist proceeded to make a bouquet. At some point, the florist stepped away and said I could rearrange one of the flowers. While doing this, one of the other florists - presumably the supervisor (or owner?) - called me out, and told me to step away from the bouquet, that it was a Covid risk (even though everyone was wearing masks), and how it was "unfair" to everyone on the team. Even after I immediately stepped away from my bouquet, she continued to berate me so that everyone in the store could hear. I felt extremely uncomfortable and did not say anything in return. While I was paying, I heard the supervisor complaining at length about me to the florist, and tell her that she had to have a "conversation" with me. Moments later, the florist brings the bouquets to the checkout register and proceeds to give a speech about how in the future I need to let the florists do what they want and that if I want to pick my own flowers then I should just buy the flowers and make the bouquet myself at home. She says all of this (and more) very loudly so that everyone in the store can hear. Presumably, she is saying this so that the supervisor / owner who put her up to this can hear her. After the speech she walks away, and no one offers to help carry the bouquets. On my way out, I could clearly hear the supervisor talking about me to all of the other florists, and going on about how the florist had spent too much time on my order and that she can't be spending much time on individual customer orders. (It seems like they don't think much about someone spending $500 at their store in a week....) (Also, maybe wait a few minutes until after the customer is gone before trash talking them?) The whole experience came off as mean-spirited and not the type of customer service one would expect from a nice boutique. While I want to write this off as someone having a bad day, the fact that the supervisor was the one inciting all the negative comments makes me thing the service issue is more pervasive. Edit: Upon reviewing the receipt, it looks like they included a $35 "open design" fee. While I would have had no issue with this charge (especially if told upfront), I'm really baffled that the supervisor would complain that the florist spent too much time on my arrangement if they are charging for the time anyway! And it's not like the whole thing took more than 10 minutes of the florist's time.

    My mom (who lives in Ohio) sent these to our family (we live in Ardmore) after lots of tears (by my…read more11 year old) and sadness that we couldn't spend Thanksgiving as we normally do this year. They really brightened our day and have lasted quite a long time. The flowers, berries and leaves gave off the most amazing smell. I really appreciated how they were not your average flowers but very interesting ones. I think they are stunning. They came while I was at work and if they came with a note saying where they were from I never saw it since my husband and daughter had already discarded...had to ask my mom and being that she is out of town she just picked a place off of the web that looked good. She said the woman she spoke to was very lovely. Jackpot!

    This morning I had called the shop to inquire about a dollhouse. I spoke to a woman who stated that…read moreshe would check the price and have me call back in 30 minutes. I was so delighted that she had the house that I just headed right over to purchase it, regardless of price. When I arrived, she seemed extremely uninterested at first, but stated she would find out the price of the hous for me. After I looked at it, I had decided to purchase it, and I told her I would like to load it in the car. She became very distraught and angry Stated that she had told me to call back in 30 minutes because it would take a long time for them to prepare the house. She said that they would need to dismantle the display and it would not be ready until tonight. I told her I'd driven 40 minutes just to pick up the house and I would actually help her dismantle everything from insideif it would allow for me to get it sooner. By the way, there was only a few toys and pluses in the house. The picture is provided for everyone to see that it would only take 3 minutes to remove the items from inside! She then told me that she was very busy and I needed to calm down because she is verybusy and understaffed, and that she needs to check out everyone else in line first and I needed to step aside. She replies in a very mad way I told you to call back in 30 minutes!!!!! I reminded her kindly that she asked me to call back For the price, and I headed over because the price did not matter. I was embarrassed and humiliated, I then decided to walk away and let her check out all the other people in line. When she had done that, I came back to tell her I would help her dismantle the area for the house and I wanted to see what she could do for me. She was clearly walking past me ignoring me for a while and then she came and told me "now do you see what I just said,when we are extremely busy! She was so angry with us. I mentioned to her that she should calm down and that I would help her. Her attitude was so extremely disrespectful and aggressive and demeaning towards me. I don't even know why I bought the house, really just because I wanted to make sure I had everything assembled for Christmas for my kids. She then charged me more than what it cost to purchase the item Yes online, and the item is also marked in many areas and has some damage. I did not even complain about that. My biggest complaint is the way she treated me. It was absolutely disgusting. I work in an extremely stressful environment on a daily basis, and I have never ever talked to a single soul in this way EVER. I have spent thousands of dollars at your store, but I will never come back. I hope that everyone reads this and sees that they do not deserve to be treated this way.. Again I work in a very stressful high volume job, and have NEVER treated anyone this way Also you should have been grateful to be busy in a bad Economy, not taking it out on customers Your response shows everything. You called me entitled, yet again insulting me when I did nothing wrong. I am a kind paying customer at your store who moved aside even though I waited in line for you to check out those ten customers in a calm and patient manner. I tried to park outside your store, but a large beverage truck parked there. I told the lovely young man I would carry the house to my car on the SAME block but he said he would help me. It took 5 minutes for him to walk down the street with me, and I also thanked him and tipped him a cash gift. You can justify why you behaved so rudely to me all you want and refuse to acknowledge your behavior which is not excusable. The house DOES have damage and the price is lower on Maileg site and all websites. I have dealt with all kinds of extremely stressful situations and have NEVER treated anyone like that ever. You seem to find such behavior acceptable and this is why I will never come to your store again
