After a one on one consultation, it was clear that Lauren could see my vision for the shop. There is something to be said for working directly with your designer, especially when you are investing so much of yourself into a project. I believe that Lauren Brown was excited for the concept I was working on and totally poured herself into the design of my logo. After seeing what Lauren put together for me, I hired her to do all of my branding. My shop is only a couple of months old now and doing well. I have to give Lauren some credit for our initial success. Our logo and branding very effectively communicates who we are and attracts our target market. My inspiration for taking time to write this comes from a compliment paid to me by a customer. They first asked who had done the design and then went on to say that they were also a graphic designer ( he shared his portfolio with me and it was impressive). This guy then admitted that he is usually quite critical when it comes to logos and branding and finds most people get it wrong. But, he said, in this case, he couldn't find a single thing he'd do differently!

The store specializes in linens and bedding from designer Nancy Koltes and has a lot of Scandia Down products (sooo cozy!) but they also have a great selection of nighties, pj's and frilly underthings that makes a girl like me swoon. Her flowers are always fresh, beautiful and last much longer than any other florist I've tried. This most recent arrangement was very special and she knocked it out of the park. My parents absolutely love the bouquet. Bridget called me after I placed the order and let me know that there would need to be some adjustments due to the type of arrangement I chose, which is totally fine, and I requested a "cool vase" and if she should "make it tall". Welp, she nailed it (see pic). Thanks again, Bridget! If you haven't checked out Bridgee Bees yet, you are missing a Havertown gem!
