There was a pre-season Seahawks game on one of the TVs and baseball on the other. There are only five or six tables in the lounge but one of them is round and probably seats 6+, along with 10ish stools at the bar. Not too busy, just enough people filtering in and out. Our delightful server, Bobby Jo, was running the lounge like a master. She was so friendly and attentive to everyone. The vibe was intimate local watering hole. We sat at the table by the fireplace, Bloody Mary and a beer first. Hubs ordered the Turkey Dinner and I had the Blue Cheese Steak Salad. Both delicious with just the right portion sizes. We shared a piece of peach cobbler a la mode. Soooooo good. We will have to plan for a breakfast stop and try the café.

The bar is about two steps up from a dive, and had a nice array of nonalcoholic options in addition to the standard, small town, alcohol fare. The food was quite good, and pretty straightforward. It's pretty standard bar type food, with a couple of nice burger options, a couple salads, and a couple other fried options. We ended up with a number of different burgers, and a couple of salads. Everything was made when we ordered it, and was really good size for the price. Our waitress took really good care of us, and everybody left full and very happy with the decision to stop in! They're honestly was nothing we didn't enjoy it. The food, the service, the overall vibe and the price. We're all exactly what we were looking for. This is definitely a spot. We will be back to, and was a big win for the evening!

They have a cool selection of books, and a lot of gift type things like tea, stuffed animals, bookmarks, art supplies, etc. I noticed the dinner menu and decided a cheeseburger sounded good. I ordered the Basecamp cheeseburger with bacon and a side salad. You can apparently order food upstairs and then sit upstairs or downstairs (or outside, I think). They have table service as well, after 4pm. Service was very friendly and patient. I decided to eat downstairs, and there was a cozy bar and large seating area. My burger soon arrived and it was delicious! A great toasted bun and a wonderfully substantial and beefy patty. The cheese was rich and gooey. Great, yummy combination of flavors. We believe that a member of our group was drugged while at this location Saturday, August 2nd. The…read moreyoung woman had not drank much and had only 2 beers while here. At one point in the evening she became very hyper and was not acting like her normal self. The next day she said that she remembers playing pool and sipping her beer, but the rest of the night a complete blank. Fortunately there was a large enough group of us and multiple sober that we got everyone home. We thought at first our friend was just joking with us, but in the morning we realized how serious it was. She vommitted multiple times that night and the next day. She has been sick ever since that night with severe headache and nausea. I am posting this not as a negative review of the establishment but I want to know if anyone out there has experienced this here. We were at the Brick before so honestly, could have happened there before we went to Markos. For everyone reading this. Please watch out for one another and stay safe.
