This is the place to go for party rentals. I needed chairs last minute for my daughters baby shower and showed up only 20 minutes before they were closing on a Friday hoping I made it in time. I ordered a punch/ champagne fountain from Stuart Rentals for an upcoming event. Upon placing the order, I received an invoice and follow-up phone call to confirm that everything was correct and to make payment. The gentleman that I spoke to, Mark Marni was just an absolute pleasure to work with. He was courteous, friendly, and made sure that the fountain would be made available even before my scheduled rental date. We were able to pick up the fountain on Friday for a Sunday event. The fountain was beautiful, it served our needs but we noticed that the was a minor functional issue with the fountain. When we returned the fountain to the office on Monday, we reported the issue to the gentleman working the desk (I hadn't realized that he (Mark) was the person that I had been corresponding with all along!) Mark was was so understanding and ensured us that after speaking with corporate/ warehouse, he would follow up with us on the issue. I had expected to hear from him later that week but that same day, he called with an update! Seriously, he provided some of the best customer service I've ever received! I rented tables and chairs for my sister's baby shower. Day of the scheduled party she went into labor and we had to cancel. Upon returning rented items Cindy asked how the party went and I informed her that we didn't end up having the party. I planned another party weeks after that and went back in to rent tables and chairs again. Cindy remembered me and didn't end up charging for the rental this time because I paid last time and didn't end up using it. It was totally unexpected and such a kind gesture. Since then, I haven't used any other rental company. I've moved to Concord, but still drive all the way back just because the customer service is so great. Even the guys that loaded up my truck go that extra mile. I've referred several friends and family members here as we'll and they all had nothing but good things to say about this place. read more

I helped set up and attended a party where Stuart provided everything. The evening was perfect, and what stood out was the quality of the supplies relative to other rental companies. There was not one stain on any cloth, and when a light bulb burned out, there was one to replace it. This company is organized and readily available to make sure everything was perfect. I just finished chairing a huge non-profit event in Piedmont, CA and I must say I am "wowed" by the service, talent and attention to detail that Cindy Foster and her accomplice, Larry bring to their clients. I cannot say enough how dedicated they were staying on and on until everything was perfect before our big event for over 250 people. Larry is a master with the lighting and canopys and a great guy to work with - both are "can-do" people. Cindy has a real "eye" for design and overall look and feel for the event. The selection of china, glassware, linens, props are the best I have seen in the Bay Area. I would highly recommend them and will use them again and again for events that I am part of. read more

Let me start by saying that Stuart Party Rental was the third company I reached out to looking for linens for my party and I'm glad I found them. I had experienced such horrible service at the first two places that I was starting to believe that these party supply shops were all subpar outfits. But with Stuart, I perused their inventory online and completed an inquiry form late evening. I received a call back from their EVP of Sales the very next day. He confirmed what they had in and out stock and welcomed me to stop by one of their showrooms to take a look at linen options up close. I took him up on the offer and went to the Castro Valley location. The service reps were Friendly, Knowledgeable and Helpful....imagine that! They had been provided with the inquiry form I completed online and were ready to assist me. Their items were showcased well and they had a cute little Halloween display out. I was able to select my linens and confirm my order within 30 min all while exchanging rubs for purrs by the resident kitty. When it was time to pick up the order, I was in and out in less than 10 min. And drop off was even quicker. It was all incredibly easy and efficient. I will be a return customer, for sure! read more
