I honestly don't understand how more people have not written about this group. I was 5 months into…read moreplanning a 300 seat charity fundraiser when my A/V guy left. I had 2 weeks to the event and was scrambling to find anyone to hand a huge ballroom with sound, visual displays (two projectors and two 75 inch televisions), 2 hand mics, a live video feed going out to online groups and bidders, and of course set-up and teardown once done. After talking with many entertainment A/V specialists, my friend Paul recommended the group as they had done many Fremont Symphony events for their Society. I spoke with Jim Douglas first who questioned me at length before a handoff to Jess Gawley who was extremely thorough in researching my needs, timing, and more. Their contract price was more than fair and signed - basing my faith on their very apparent experience and knowledge in providing what I thought I needed for an event this size. Keep in mind that I had done dozens of other events before with other teams, but nothing prepared me for the professionalism of this group. At 3:30 pm (for a 5 pm to 9:30 pm event), they were already setting everything up, moving like a heavily trained dance group, wires here, wires there, speakers throughout, screens up and running, and mics where we needed them. Not only did the event go off without a hitch, but they were also by far the best A/V team I have ever been associated with, in 30 years. In fact, I struck up a conversation with Karl (an amazing man - we both have adopted children - which coincidentally was what the fundraiser was for!) and we plan to have a lunch/breakfast soon to have time to sit down and talk about fostering kids and how best to promote it. They were beyond great and in the end, they moved silently but quickly as they cleaned up everything and went on their way. Another well-choreographed event done perfectly. We raised over $75,000 dollars that night and never had to worry about anything regarding A/V - which, if you have ever organized one of these functions, is the last thing you want to notice.
