Done with this company. I have purchased a number of kits from this company through the years as an auto shop owner. We have had a few issues, but this time was the last. We purchased a kit from them and a 3 monthes later customer calls with complaint of a noise. We diagnosed the noise as a bad coil/strut assembly and the company treated us like we were novices. We ended up paying in advance for another unit because they had to verify it was faulty (fair enough). Once it was indeed verified as faulty they credit me $50 when I had spent $163 not including labor expenses. I had the joy of speaking with Evette in warranties where she proceeded to insult me by calling me sweetie and honey until I asked her to stop. And you may say well maybe that's just how she talks. She may, but it was in a very condescending manner. I supplied her with documentation of my expenses and they proceeded to pay another $66.48. So I'm out about $42 plus my labor, but I will gladly part ways with this business to avoid loss of time and the hassle of dealing with their staff. Good riddance. read more

Wow, what a nightmare. After convincing me that they could build a suspension kit for my 2010 E550 I am already on my 3rd attempt to get it right. The shocks just aren't manufactured correctly. Sure they send me the current replacement without much games but not even able to drive on them for 1 week before having major issues. Noisy, loose, not turning properly, stiff, springs pop out of holding. The worst choice I made was to trust the salesperson who was clearly reading a script. I own a 2003 Mercedes SL500 that was giving me horrible suspension problems and after shelling out $4,000+ I decided to order a conversion kit from Strutmasters (highly recommend). The kit cost was approx. $1,700 (I added the by-pass hose too). My next problem was locating a good mechanic to do the conversion for me. I have to say Darrell at Strutmasters went way beyond his job because he located a mechanic for me in San Antonio, Texas. Strutmasters gave me the contact information and said the mechanic is waiting for your call. Darrell, thank you, thank you, thank you! You are a wonderful person to take the time out to help me find a really good mechanic! Followed these folks on Facebook for a while as I was sourcing out a conversion kit for an upcoming suspension job. I found them through Clay Millican's page and they posted some really funny stuff all the time. I was happy to see they also make a top-quality product too. I was restoring an older model Explorer and it was time to replace the air suspension. The car sits a little higher on the shocks than they did on the previous air struts but that's probably because they're new. Hard to remember how it sat coming from the dealership. THe install was pretty easy, most people who can turn a wrench can probably handle it on their own. Definitely recommend if you're on a budget and just want something durable, cheap and simple. read more

The auto museum! How fun! Decided to take the scenic route on a trip up to VA and stopped for lunch in Roxboro. I saw someone say something about a car museum at this place and I wanted to check it out before getting back on the road. So cool! They had a bunch of neat old cars and the gentleman who helped me, Scott, could not have been nicer. I don't think they get too many visitors in to see the museum but he was kind enough to take time out of his schedule to show me around. I only wish they had it set up a little better to make the tours a little more official and easier--but as long as they have folks like Scott working there they'll be fine! I had ordered about a dozen kits from these guys in the past. They make a really nice product that saves lots of money for older cars you just want to keep on the road. I was headed south, and wanted to check out their location and "auto museum" from their website. The museum features a few classics, all in pristine shape. I'm told they are the owner's cars. It was also cool to see their whole operation. Spent about half an hour there. Everyone was really nice. Recommend if you happen to be passing through Roxboro, NC for any reason. read more

These days its hard to know what you're buying but I was happy to see the kit I ordered (GMC Yukon conversion) were genuine and not some cheap knockoff. The Yukon is a big, heavy truck and I wouldn't want to risk it on something that's poor quality. It might just be me but it took a little bit longer than the 4 hours it's supposed to take to change everything out, but then again I took some breaks :) Their videos on Youtube were really helpful during the install too. read more

Picked up some shocks for a hobby car I'm working on and they are exactly what I needed. I live in the southeast and shipping time was fine for me. My only complaint is that the packaged instructions aren't incredibly thorough. They do have some Youtube videos up to help but it looks like not for every vehicle. I would assume they are working to change that though. read more

Ordered my new struts 7/15, received 7/19. Installed by 7/21. No issues at all and I'm so happy to have been able to do the work myself. My Armada hasn't felt like this in probably 8 years. I was worried it was going to be the end (air spring replacement was greater than the value of the car) but Strutmasters gave me a lifeline and a fun project to boot! read more
